Ultimate Atenas Sunrise Hike!

This was an amazing tour- so worth it! Dont give it a second though just BOOK this! The path is easy… sunrise is beautiful and the view is spectacular!

I want to thank George, the guide, for such a pleasant sports walk to the top of Lycabettus mountain overlooking beautiful Athens in order to watch sunrise. It was such an interesting adventure accompanied with stories about past and modern history of Greece and Greek people. It is a really great start of the day!

I was in Athens for a long layover and decided to come into the city using the 24/7 bus X95 which dropped me off a very short walk from the meet up point w George for the sunrise hike. The tour was great, it felt like going for a sunrise catch up with a local friend who’s very knowledgeable about Athens and the greek way of life! Early morning on Lycabettus is exceptional, quiet and green with great views of the city and of the Acropolis. Highly recommend if you’re short on time in Athens and want to beat the crowd! If you’re visiting Athens, don’t miss the Ultimate Athens Sunrise Hike with George! Waking up early was 100% worth it. I was lucky enough to have a one-on-one hike with George, and he made me feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed the entire time. His knowledge of Athens and the surrounding area made the experience even more special. The hike isn’t strenuous, and George happily stops for breaks and makes sure you have plenty of opportunities for incredible sunrise photos. Watching the Parthenon go from the darkness of dawn to glowing in the morning sun was unforgettable. Add in the peaceful streets, adorable cats, and breathtaking views, and it became one of my favorite experiences in Athens. Don’t sleep in—you’ll be so glad you woke up for this!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our morning hike up Mount Lycabettus. The sunrise over Athens was a wonderful reward for our efforts. Our guide, George, was fantastic providing great motivation and informative insights about Athens. The views are outstanding. A great way to combine fitness and exploration, highly recommend.

What a great sunrise hike. George was extremely friendly and accommodating. From pausing when I was slightly out of breath to showing me viewing spots without the tourist hordes, he really went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and got good photo ops. There was also a nice mix of nature, brief history, and city vibes at the hike’s spots, not too much of one over the other. Super chill and everything kept moving at a great pace. 100% worth getting up early for! 😄 Highly recommend George and Ultimate Athens for anyone after a supportive, well-paced, and intimate hike (run by a local too!!!!)

There is something magical and breathtaking when you witness the Acropolis glow under the rising sun. It may sound crazy waking up at 4.30am whilst on holidays, but you will rewarded with this magical view. George is a wonderful and easy going guide who loves this city and is eager to share it. Don't even think about it. Just do it!!

A spectacular experience! Thank you so much to George for the whole experience. We hiked up Mount Lycabettus, the view was beautiful once we reached the top. Exceptional, George showed me places I wouldn't have seen alone! I enjoyed the hike , at impeccable pace and all the explanations! The panorama was incredible! Thanks again, I wish I hadn't done it!
