Tubing no Canyon River, Canopy e Hot Spring Combo Tour de Playa Hermosa

Very professional operation with timely pickup/drop off. Never felt rushed. Easy transition from one activity to the next. All of the activities were nearby each other within the reserve, so didn’t need to get in the van in between. Also plenty of opportunities to change clothes if that’s your preference. The facility provided towels to use and the bathrooms were all very clean. Great overall experience

If you’re ready to try it all in one stop, stop looking and booking this tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and took us shopping for souvenirs after. All in all great day! If water is low wear a rash guard as you will be paddling during tubing and getting a rash if not.

Great experience. Zip lining was great, even with a reluctant 6 year old. Horse ride was a little longer than expected. End of dry season so water levels were low and tubes frequently got stuck. Probably better when water levels are higher. Overall a wonderful experience. Everyone had a great time.

This was an amazing excursion! So full of action & adventure! The driver who picked us up was friendly and informative, he was with us from beginning to end. The guys who helped us with zip lining and river tubing were amazing. They were nice and super patient and helpful. I highly recommend this excursion!

4 of us set out from Secrets resort to Canyon River. Carlos was our driver. About an hour to the place. We saddled up. We thought we could ride the horses and the change to swimsuits for the river. WRONG. We rode the horses to the river for our “put in”. The horse ride was ok. I was put on mule. I’m sure they had their reasons. That was a little disappointing but the river tubing certainly made up for it. It was so much fun. Our guides were great in pushing us through the few slow spots. There weren’t many. Most of it were rapids and waterfalls negotiated through smooth worn boulders. Spinning and laughing down theColorado river in Costa Rica on a hot and cloudy day was the way to spend the morning. We all loved it. Then we were surprised with the warm water soak. It felt good after a few butt bumps along the river ride. Lastly, the prepared lunch was extremely good. The fish was outstanding. We ate while listening to the gentle rain hit the metal roof. Carlos returned us to Secrets safe and sound. Photos arrived in email same day to memorialize our great trip. We highly recommend this tour. Pura Vida. (Zip lining was also available. It looked fun but we choose not to partake. The lines went back and worth over the river and would be a treat for those who want to add it to the excursion)

I highly recommend this excursion. Our tour guide, Carlos, was very friendly and helpful. The staff was great and everything about the day was a perfect experience. The zip lining is a lot of fun with gorgeous views as you’re moving through the trees. Staff is extremely helpful and they are sure to maintain your safety at all times. The water tubing on rapids was thrilling and it was great to experience the views and wildlife. The tour guides were on tubes right behind you making sure you stayed afloat and got through the water safely. Once this was done we had mud baths and hot springs which were beautiful. The day ended with a wonderful authentic Costa Rican lunch. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area.

We booked a private excursion with Pininos for the Mega tour - Ziplining, Horse backriding and then white water tubing. With 4 teens it is hard to "thrill" them but we had a great time on this excursion. We booked "private" because we did not want to share a van with anyone else or stop at multiple hotels to pick up people - since we are 6 people this worked out great for us. The Ziplining is done back and forth over a river canyon and there are 8 ziplines. There is an opportunity to repel down a wall and climb back up after the ziplines but only our youngest (13) elected to do that activity due to the heat (the rest of us watched). The horse back ride was about 30 minutes and brought us to the river. The tubing was refreshing and you sit in a tub with a seat - warning here that this has lots of rapids and a waterfall that you go over - perfect for my 13, 15, 17 and 17 year old teens. We had multiple guides in the river who were keeping everyone safe - it was exciting but you never felt in danger. (If you have small children you should work with Pininos to see how this is handled because the waterfall drop is about 7 feet). At the end of the tubing you have lunch and then a short walk to the hotsprings for a soak. IT was a blast and I would highly recommend Pininos - they made sure that everything ran smoothly for us. On the way home they stopped at Walmart at our request so we could shop for drinks and misc. An adventure to thrill 4 teens that parents also enjoyed is worth the money. Thanks Pininos!

On Thanksgiving day 2019, my boyfriend fractured his femur in his right leg and broke 5 ribs on what was supposed to be a "tubing" ride. That tubing ride turned out to be white water rafting. He was lucky. He nearly drowned. After the rafting accident we were unable to do any of the remaining activities that day and the 6 days we had left of our vacation were completely ruined. My boyfriend spent weeks in agonizing pain and had horrendous swelling in his leg. I sent several emails to the tour operator requesting a refund of our excursion cost. I never recieved any type of response. My boyfriend's medical bills when we returned to the U.S. were several thousands of dollars, he was out of work for 3 weeks, and he spent two months recovering from his injuries. If you are going to book an excursion, book it through your resort. Do not risk your vacation or your life.

From the driver picking us up from the hotel to the experts for each event.. they are very polite a lot of knowledge about the country. They ensure that they move at your pace there’s 8 zip lines so you’ll cross the canopies a number of times n capture great photos and videos

As my son put it "this has been the best day of my life" so far. We all really enjoyed it and thought it was a good value for the money. Carlos was a great driver and tour guide and the people that helped with each activity kept us safe and made sure we had fun. Lunch was excellent. The hardest thing is deciding which activity we liked best.
