Got it all right. The driver was waiting for me with a sign with my name as soon as I landed at Cusco airport
The cab did not show up. There was no response from the provider despite repeated messages. On the day of departure when the cab did not show up on scheduled time, we had hotel call the number listed but there was no response. After 4-5 tries, we gave up and requested hotel to call us another cab.

The car never showed up even when I confirmed it the day before. Have asked for a refund at time of writing this have not seen it yet.
I received an email the day of of pickup that stated the driver would pick me up at 5pm. I sent an email back and requested 3pm pick-up since I was just waiting at the hotel. There was no response to the email, so I just waited. At 5:30 there was still no driver so I had to take a taxi. I had paid $14 for this service to pick me up. The taxi ended up costing only $3.75. There are taxi's everywhere so I would advise to just take a taxi and not prepay for transportation.
The drop to the airport was okay. Driver came on time. However the driving could be improved since it was very jerky at times
The booking of a private taxi was a good way to travel to the airport quickly - however the taxi was late in picking us up - it was late by about 30mins. Luckily we had accounted for this and allowed an extra hour before our flight. If you are staying in a hotel, then they can book taxis for you and these are faster than pre-booking them. As we waited for this taxi, we saw 2-3 taxis come and go for people who the hotel had ordered for directly there and then.
Frank our driver was on time, very helpful and efficient . He knows his way to the ariport and we were there in 20 min tome from pur hotel

Luckily I booked for an early pick-up from my hotel (allowing an extra 30 minute cushion) Although there was a lot of traffic around the airport, I still made it in plenty of time, since I had business class check-in, but it could have been stressful with a coach class ticket! So I recommend booking extra early!!!
Check your distance to and from Airport to Hotel. Most likely in Cusco it will be Close. Lima is a totally different story all together. Anyway, our Hotel was very close to Airport. Ride should be less expensive in Cusco than in Lima. Driver met us with a sign quickly took our bags and got us in a New SUV! Nice! Our Driver was Edgar latter I found out that he was connected to INTI travel which took care of us while we were in Cusco. Those guys Rock! Mucho Gracia's
