Unforgettable experience and excellent organisation! They picked me up at my hotel, we spent the first day with Efrain visiting nice places in the Valle sagrado. He was a funny and kind person and shared his knowledge with us. The group was small as promised with only 9 persons. He gave us a detailled plan about the trip and all tickets and showed us where to take the train in Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Getting off the train we have been picked up from someone from the hotel and the guides for Machu Picchu for the next day which gave us a briefing in the hotel. Everything was so well organised, i felt really safe as a female solo traveller and they have a 24h telefonnumber in case of any doubts. The next day our guides picked us up in the morning at our nice hotel, we checked out but could leave our things there. I was lucky that i even got a private guide. Victor could'nt have done a better job. He acompanied from the hotel to the bus up to Machu Picchu and was very knowledgeable about everything! We did circuit 3B which i really liked and could do it in my own pace, he offered to take fotos of me and i could ask all my questions about this stunning, magical place! Then i took the bus back to Aguas Calientes and had some freetime there till i met back the other travellers at the train station to get back to Ollantaytambo where we got picked up and transfered back to out hotels in Cusco. All in all, my experience with Fly Cusco couldn't have been better, if you want to visit Machu Picchu without worrying about anything don't hesitate to book!
On the first day we had a super guide who knew a lot and the places we visited were also very exciting, however, we were a little stressed at the last place to make it to the train on time, it was a great shame because it would have been exciting there and we would have liked to stay longer and learned more. On the second day it was a quite good tour with a different guide, however, we did not get as much info as we had hoped and almost more good photo spots were shown than anything explained about Machu Picchu. What was a shame was that there were a lot of tourists. But all in all it was very good.
Great experience. Our guides were incredible. The guide Martín Aranda was spectacular, I went with my husband and he was patient with us, taught us a lot, and was kind enough to take photos of us at strategic points to have nice memories in Machu Picchu. We feel extremely grateful to him. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was excellent. The 4-star hotel (El MaPi) did not have a working elevator and the room was on the 5th floor; I previously injured my knee getting off a van step and I mentioned it to the front desk, it did not help me to go up and down the stairs, it hurt a lot (arrival, departure, breakfast, and dinner) it worsened my condition; the hotel could be empathetic in these situations, especially when it is a failure on their part and they should have a solution. Another option could be to pay for the 3-star hotel package. The train ride, very nice, although they sat us in the front in the first seat and we couldn't enjoy the shows since they only performed in the middle and in the back of the car (since we were next to the conductor's booth) we also didn't see much scenery on the sides since on the right side was the conductor's booth which completely blocked the view... because of the hotel and train I give the experience 4 stars. Anyway, I take the good and beautiful with me and it was very much worth visiting Peru. Incredible history and culture. Machu Picchu was spectacular.
Correct, everything as agreed.
It was really something. We had a rough start to the trip — we got food poisoning at our hotel in Cusco and were afraid we wouldn't be able to handle the two-day journey. But the organization and the guides were simply wonderful. The first day's locations alone were worth the entire cost of the trip — stunningly beautiful places, a delicious lunch, and a great guide. At night we reached a lovely little town tucked away among the cliffs — Aguas Calientes. It was magical. In the morning we climbed up to Machu Picchu, and that was the highlight of the whole trip. Everything was organized to the highest standard. Rayza and her colleagues did a wonderful job. Thanks a lot!
We had an absolutely amazing time on this 2-day tour! The overall organization by Flycusco was at the highest level, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. A special thank you to Rayza, who was always in touch and super fast to answer all our questions. Before the tour started, we were given very convenient envelopes containing all our tickets arranged in perfect chronological order - this made the whole journey completely stress-free! Day 1 (Sacred Valley): Our first day was wonderful thanks to our guide Victor and driver Alecio. The timing was flawless! Victor shared so many fascinating facts and stories; he is truly a great speaker and a pleasure to listen to. Day 2 (Machu Picchu): We explored Machu Picchu with Yudit. Once again, everything was remarkably punctual. She met us right at our hotel and accompanied us throughout the day. We learned so much incredible history and detail about Machu Picchu from her! I highly recommend Flycusco! Their professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail made this trip an unforgettable experience.
The tour is very well organized and makes life easier, if you want to spend some money so you don’t have to plan everything out yourself and still see all the highlights in a short amount of time, then this is absolutely something you should do! A couple things i have to mention are: The buffet lunch we went to is not the fancy buffet place that’s mentioned in the itinerary. The food was good but not what we expected. Secondly, i don’t think the expensive train is worth it… you get less leg room, the windows are literally the same as the cheaper train option. And the only difference is a snack box and the music/entertainment cart (which was fun for the experience but not a necessity if you don’t want to spend too much money) Last, the 4* hotel el mapi by inkaterra was an extreme let down. They didn’t get our room right, there was no soap, no towels, service was slow. The food was fine at best. Wifi was really slow. The phone didn’t work so couldn’t call front desk. But if we are talking about the experience, we saw all the highlights and got to do everything we wanted. Highlights, pictures and transportation all very good. Guide also good.
We were extremely happy with our two-day tour of Sacred Valley and Macchu Pichu with Fly Cusco Peru. Our Sacred Valley guide, Victor, was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and he was very friendly and personable. Martín, our Macchu Pichu guide, was amazing! He really took care to make his narrative personal and relatable to our children. He also took amazing photos and videos for us! Shout out to Rayza for doing a commendable job coordinating everything on the administrative side as well. Highly recommend this tour!!
This is the perfect way to see Machu Picchu. If you do it across 2 days like this then you arrive at the site early to see the sun coming over the mountains. My guide at Machu Picchu was wonderful Yudit. And I was assisted through the app and on WhatsApp by Rayza. I recommend chosing the highest star hotel you can.
Excellent script and with very friendly guides. Our guide Aquiles was a separate show. The Sacred Valley is an incredible place and Machu Picchu is indescribable.
