O Templo Garni (77 d.C.) – a primeira parada – é o único templo em pé em toda a área pós-soviética. Garni fica graciosamente em um planalto com vista para o desfiladeiro do rio Azat. Você também verá a casa de banho romana com o misterioso mosaico, feito de 30.000 peças de pedras naturais, bem como as ruínas do palácio real do século III d.C.
Garni Gorge é uma incrível atração natural localizada na Armênia, perto da aldeia de Garni. É também conhecida como a "Sinfonia das Pedras" devido às suas formações rochosas únicas que criam uma bela sinfonia de cores e formas. * A visita à Sinfonia das Pedras está sujeita às condições meteorológicas.
A próxima parada do passeio é o complexo monástico de Geghard. Traduzido para o inglês como “Mosteiro da Lança Sagrada”, refere-se à lança com a qual Longino perfurou Jesus. Mais tarde trazido para a Armênia e mantido no mosteiro de Geghard por 5 séculos. A parte mais surpreendente é a virtude do arquiteto, que cortou a igreja na rocha sólida, considerando todas as regras da arquitetura armênia.

We had a great experience. The tour guide was very informative and we had many opportunities to stop on the drive to take photos and try some fresh lavash bread. Geghard was very crowded and amenities are not great, so better to use bathroom before travelling there. Garni was also excellent as well as the gorge which looks like the organ pipes. Tour was not rushed at all.

Edgar was an extraordinary host. We saw all shades of autumn on our way, an extremely beautiful view of Mount Ararat, a beautifully guided trip to the Garni Temple, the symphony of stones is a natural marvel that can't be told or written about, it must be witnessed with one's own eyes, and then finally visited Geghard, where Edgar showed us the symbolism and the history of the place. I must say, anyone taking the tour needs to take it with a guide, as you truly understand what each and every place represents and why it's something of value. In the end, it's the host that really made the trip special for us with his integrity, attitude, and hospitality. Thank you, Edgar! Looking forward to visiting and exploring all of Armenia with you!

We booked it last minute and the driver picked us up from the hotel lobby. He didn’t speak much English, but he tried and he made the experience very pleasant. We enjoyed the sites and loved the “gata” cakes he recommended. Altogether it took around 4 hours, and it was just what we needed. Thanks again to our driver, he was one of the nicest people we met in our trip to Armenia.
Our guide Nektar was amazing, so full of life, so full in explanations, with very good English. The places we've visited are amazing and I truly recommend them.
