Itinerário
Galatina, uma verdadeira jóia de arte, história e tradições. É conhecida sobretudo pelos grandiosos afrescos da escola de Giotto na basílica de S. Caterina d'Alessandria, segunda na Itália em extensão pictórica apenas para a de S. Francesco em Assis. Outros monumentos a visitar são a Igreja Matriz de SS. Pedro e Paulo e as casas e edifícios do centro histórico.
Otranto, uma das mais belas aldeias costeiras de Salento. É uma cidade cheia de história e em cada esquina destaca a passagem de diferentes civilizações, incluindo os romanos, os bizantinos, os otomanos e os aragoneses. Você terá tempo livre para visitar a esplêndida Catedral, a Basílica Bizantina de San Pietro, o Castelo Aragonês, as Torres, as imponentes Muralhas Pelasgianas e as Muralhas que cercam a cidade.

Depois de Otranto chegará a Santa Maria di Leuca, viajando ao longo da maravilhosa costa do Adriático, caracterizada por falésias com vista para o mar, grutas e enseadas com fundo rochoso. Ao longo do caminho você admirará Santa Cesarea Terme, Castro Marina e Ciolo Fiordo. Santa Maria di Leuca é verdadeiramente o calcanhar da Itália, o lugar onde o Mar Jónico encontra o Mar Adriático. Desta ponta da Apúlia você poderá admirar vistas espetaculares do porto e do mar, bem como do santuário de Santa Maria de "Finibus Terrae".
Gallipoli, considerada a pérola do mar Jônico. Esta cidade, de origem grega, pode ser dividida em duas áreas: a nova aldeia, onde se situam os equipamentos turísticos e os edifícios modernos, e a cidade velha, que se encontra numa pequena ilha ligada ao continente por uma ponte do século XVII. . Você terá algum tempo à sua disposição para admirar o centro histórico, caracterizado por ruas estreitas e sinuosas, repletas de lojas de artesanato, palácios antigos e igrejas barrocas. Não perca a Catedral de Sant 'Agata, o magnífico Castelo Angevin, construído no século XIII, e a Fonte Grega, uma das mais antigas da Itália.

The tour was excellent. Stefano was an outstanding guide, very knowledgeable in local history and culture and very personable.
This is the best tour we have ever done! Stephano is an incredible guide who has so much knowledge of the history of Salento region and Lecce. Definitely recommend.
Stunning day in every way! Our guide, Stefano, gave us great commentary and information about the sights we were seeing. All the stops were excellent and Stefano’s lunch recommendation at Leuca was perfect. We opted for a private tour for the two of us and were able to tailor make our stops for an Aperol Spritz or two along the way. This tour was exactly what we wanted to see in Puglia as all the coastal towns seem to have their own charm & beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend the Salento Experience with Stefano!
Wonderful way to see the coastal towns of importance along the Salento coast (and the confluence of the Adriatic and Ionian Seas) in a day from Lecce. Not only do you not need a car, Stefano was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastically showed us the key locations, enriching the experience further. Highly recommend!

We had a nice trip visiting some of the most gorgeous towns in Salento. Our douse Stefano was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. We appreciated his knowledge of all the sites of this beautiful area of Italy
A very packed day, exploring the heel of Puglia region. Our guide was informative and helped us understand the history and highlights of each city. It’s a long day… would recommend that they remove one of the cities from the tour, especially during summer months when it’s very very hot.
This was such a great day! Stefano was incredible. Very friendly (even when keeping our group together was a little like herding cats) and very informative. It was fun getting to know the other couples too! We had so much fun! Btw- Stefano, it took me 3 minutes to write this review, lol!
Our guide Stefano was punctual and very friendly. We got a good overview of the southernmost part of Apulia. On the rather poor roads, a newer vehicle with good suspension would have certainly been more comfortable.

The tour was excellent. The places visited very beautiful and the guide Stefano who directed the vehicle and explained with details about the churches, the history of the places, answered all the questions asked to him, always with sympathy, education, goodwill, cordiality and a lot of knowledge of everything about the cities of the tour. He stopped several times to contemplate beautiful places and take pictures. Anyway, it was an excellent day. We loved the tour.
