O passeio começa com o pick up no hotel e depois fazemos uma viagem de 1 hora e 20 minutos até nosso primeiro local de visita, durante a viagem apreciaremos montanhas cobertas de neve, lagoas, campos de milho e batata. O primeiro lugar Moray (laboratório agrícola) onde podemos apreciar terraços andinos em forma circular e que são esculpidos nas profundezas da terra, em forma de tigela, foram usados para adaptar produtos a diferentes climas. Após a visita a Moray, iremos a “Salineras” ou “sal de Maras”, esta cidade é conhecida anteriormente como um centro produtor de sal e acredita-se que data da época pré-incaica. Podemos encontrar mais de 3500 salinas estrategicamente escavadas junto à montanha e que são preenchidas por canais de água. Já de volta à cidade de Cusco passaremos por uma pitoresca vila “Chinchero” berço do arco-íris, esta cidade se caracteriza pelo fato de que a técnica têxtil andina ainda é preservada.

encontramos o sítio arqueológico de Moray, que é um centro de pesquisa agrícola no Inca, onde a adaptação de produtos para diferentes climas com um sistema de terraço.
Visitaremos a cidade de Maras, também conhecida como a cidade dos portais, localizada na província de Urubamba a 3300 m.a.s.l. Localizado a 52 km da cidade de Cusco Abriga as mais importantes minas do período Inca, sendo exploradas desde o início até o presente.

Christian was a wonderful tour guide. He shared detailed historical facts and current events about Moray and Msras. He was patient and answered every question we had. Our driver, Wilson, even stopped at a pasture for us so we could take photos of the alpacas and llamas (that was not part of the itinerary).
