Ugh. This was a waste of time. The guide was more interested in telling us about her so-called paranormal experiences than anything else. We only went into one cemetery - where she didn't really explain about what we were seeing, share any of the ghost stories/legends from the area, or tell us why we should even care about it. The second cemetery, we had to stand outside a gate as she just told us about her experience rescuing people from Katrina. Then the beignet stop...ha. That's just a way to make the tour longer without having to do any extra work. Just take me back to the beginning so i can rid this experience from my mind.
Ok cemetery tour. Not haunting at all. We did the 7pm tour and it wasn’t dark. We walked around one small private cemetery and our tour guide told us about the burial process in New Orleans. We didn’t have the opportunity to look around at all the burial sites. We got back on the bus, went and got a drink then stopped again for a sidewalk history lesson on Katrina. My husband who is a history buff liked it, but my kids / adult kids not so much as they thought it was boring. It was pricey for what we did. Bus ride was loud - with hitting all the holes and bus rattling- we could barely hear our guide. Really the guide should use a headset. Guide was nice and knowledgeable. Just not what we were expecting.
The tour was entertaining, insightful, and very much a unique experience! The stories were spooky; as well as were the photos of spirits the guide shared with us from past tours. Overall, a worthwhile and good experience, I’d recommend everyone to go at least once.
The tour guide was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. I was expecting more from the tour we only toured one cemetery and stopped at the gate of another.
Jeff did a wonderful job of creating a safe space for all people (believers and doubters of the paranormal) to learn, appreciate and respect the cemetery and after life culture of New Orleans. An elegant storyteller and all around great guide. Would absolutely do this tour again!
Loved every minute of this historical tour. The private cemetery tour and explanantions were outstanding. Jeff is very knowledgeable and was hilarious. Cory, our driver was excellent. Relaxing tour with air conditioning, ability to bring your own drinks, and a restroom/snack break at the halfway point. Highly recommend.
I had a great time with my son. Interesting locations and content, Good local tips on places to see, eat. Air conditioned bus so nice break from the weather.
Wasn’t what I expected. Interesting info about the graveyards but you couldn’t go in the Charity one-the most haunted, too much background in the free masons, not enough look around time and no EMF reader as advertised. The pictures shown, quickly, were totally fake.
More of a cemetery tour than a ghost adventure
Our tour guide gave us 15 minutes to get beignets and the bus left in 10 minutes not 15! I can't believe they would give us a set time and then leave before the allowed time! We had to get an Uber back to the Quarter.
