My wife and 2 kids (20 and 16) took the night tour from 9:30 to 11:30 on Monday, July 6, 2026 with Drew (our tour guide) and Israel (our driver). To start, the pickup was a litte odd. We got to the pickup address 30 minutes early and then kind of just hung out on a sidewalk in front of the Treehouse bar for 10 minutes before a guy sitting on the sidewalk (who later turned out to be our guide Drew) finally told us we should go in and check inside. Inside the bar was a woman who was checking people in, but not actively checking outside to see who had shown up. Then, when the van got there, they parked all the way down the block and not in front of the actual meeting location. Not the worst tour start, but it was weird. The biggest issue I ended up having was that we only visited 2 cemeteries. The first one, we just stopped outside the gate and stood and got a short 15 minute history lesson. The second was at the end of the night (with a sign that said "No Tours" on the gate) and was the most brightly lit cemetery I have ever visited. We got a short little history lesson (which was very good) and then got to walk around the cemetery by ourselves for 10 minutes. Overall, the two visits were kind of a letdown. I was hoping for some famous plots (aside from Lee Harvey Oswald's parents) and maybe some spooky dark walks through the gravesites. Between those two visits, we spent some time on a short nature trail at the park and heard some spooky'ish stories and then had a 20 minute stop for beignets for some reason at a local cafe. Drew was an okay guide. His style and manner was a little brash and aggresive for my tastes, but he seemed to really love the subject matter and seemed very knowledgeable. Overall, the tour was fine. It just wasn't the Ghosts nor Cemetery Tour I was hoping for and not one I would go on again, nor recommend heavily to anyone I knew visiting New Orleans.
Had a great time on the tour. Christian was awesome! Learned a whole lot about New Orleans. I feel like I have a lot more respect for the city than I did when I first got here, so thank you so much for that. Oh & Morning Call does have the BEST beignets!!
Christian the tour guide and our driver were both amazing
This is a must do experience!!! Our tour guide Christian was very knowledgeable. It was an overall great experience.
Drew was a great tour guide! Tons of great information and genuinely loves his job! We enjoyed every minute of the experience.
This was a very interesting and fun experience! The pickup spot was convenient, the guide was informative and good-natured and the bus was comfortable.
Great bus tour with experienced friendly guide, Kristy. She knows a great deal about ghosts in New Orleans. The air conditioned bus was deliciously cold between stops. Our group had a friendly vibe
Trip did not include enough information about the city. I expected to go into more than one cemetery and have more time to explore.
Drew was a great guide! Super fun and energetic! Would recommend him for a tour guide any day! Recommend 100%
Awesome tour. Great host, great storyteller! Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys history and a little spooky!
