Well I have no words (still in awe) and at the same time so many words (so amazed) to say about the unforgettable jeep tour to Sete Cidades with Daniel! I have done many tours throughout the UK and Europe and this one is by far the best tour I have ever been on. Daniel was fabulous. His knowledge was top notch, his pacing was perfection, and his thoughtfulness didn’t go unnoticed. Daniel made you feel like he was your friend from the moment you met him and it was sad to say goodbye. Our Full-Day Jeep Tour of Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo was one of the highlights of our trip to the Azores! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, but what made the experience truly exceptional was our tour guide, Jose. Jose was the perfect representative for both the tour company and the island of São Miguel. His knowledge of the island’s history, culture, geology, and natural beauty was incredible, and he shared it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. It was clear how deeply he cares about preserving this amazing place for future generations, and his passion for conservation added so much meaning to the tour. Throughout the day, Jose made sure everyone was comfortable, answered every question with enthusiasm, and took us to spectacular viewpoints that we never would have found on our own. This company/trip was recommended by someone we met at the airport. They said it was a must. So we booked! From the moment Goncalo picked us up to the moment he dropped us off - it was an amazing adventure. The weather was not the greatest and we weren’t sure how it was going to be. Goncalo was able to pivot and make sure we had a good time and catch all the sights we could. Regardless of the heavy fog and rain, the day was EPIC. If you are worried about the weather- don’t. The guides are fantastic and tailor the day around the weather so you still see a lot of the Azores.
