Itinerário
Mangel Halto é uma lagoa superficial e uma vista de mergulho recreativo. Pintorescos, belos recifes verdes-azulados estão localizados nessa área. Uma visão que você nunca vai esquecer. Toda a natureza nesta área é preservada e protegida.

For groups of 8 or less - If you want to avoid crowds and see the most unique, beautiful parts of Aruba only available via boat, this is the company for you. My husband and I book a private boat tour with a local company at every Caribbean island we visit, and this one was, by far, the most welcoming and enduring! We called each other family by the end of the tour, and I’m always that person who doesn’t care to talk to strangers nor make friends on vacations. We learned their customers include families with toddler to senior citizen ages as well as couples, so it’s a perfect experience for all. You will find that other boat tour companies stay local to Palm and Eagle beaches, but Ocean Encounters will take you farther to secluded mangroves with gorgeous clear water to snorkel and see incredible sea life away from other people! I have boated around a lot of mangroves, but this experience was unique by snorkeling along the bottom of them. You see many different types of colorful and different shaped fish hiding within the branches. Plus, the white sand mixed with the clear water and beauty of the mangroves makes for its own gorgeous scenic experience. You cannot beat having your own private tour and PEACE. While others in Aruba rush to see sea turtles at sunrise and/or in massive tour groups, Ocean Encounters took us to an area on the north side of the island where we snorkeled with calm sea turtles; the turtles were not afraid of us. It was fun to watch them eat grass on the bottom of the ocean then make their way to the top of the water for breaths. I swam right next to one coming up for air, and it didn’t flinch at all. No, we didn’t touch them. The highlight of my trip! If you don’t want to snorkel, just grab a noodle and float in the gorgeous water or enjoy views from the boat alone. No pressure to do anything. It’s cool to see the entire north to south coast of Aruba from the water on the Leeward side! If you think the ocean is gorgeous from the beach, just wait until you see the many colors of it from the boat. They will take GoPro and iPhone photos for you plus from your own camera if preferred. Their GoPro has an extended stick, so they can capture sea life and views closer than you see from the naked eye. They provided me with great shots of the many fish, turtles, and sting rays we encountered. There is something freeing about a personal boat ride where you can eat, drink, and sit wherever you want like it’s your own boat! Sit on the front of the boat with your legs dangling off while gliding through the ocean. Sit on a comfy booth seat near the captain if you want more conservative comfort. Control your own music in the Bluetooth sound system. Learn more about Aruba from the locals than you would anyone else; ample time to ask questions and explore. It’s also satisfying to support local by choosing a family-owned business. You can choose to stop for lunch OR they will pack a fresh lunch if you want to maximize boat and water time (we did the latter). We were completely spoiled on this trip; we just rolled out of bed, were picked up from our resort, and enjoyed the ride. You can also take your own snacks and drinks; I took a bottle of champagne and they provided glasses, bottled water, and other snacks too. Lastly, while the main goal of booking a boat tour is to see Aruba’s best side, you will be pleasantly surprised at how kind and genuine Bibi and Carl are as your guides to enhance the experience. You will not feel more comfortable with anyone else. Bibi gave me a hug the first time I saw her as if we already knew each other well from our interactions on email and WhatsApp. They are highly appreciative of their customers as well as fast to respond with all communications. They are smart, hilarious, outgoing, and some of the best people you could meet when enjoying Aruba!
We are a family of 5 and kids ages 17/15/11. We went to 3 different snorkel spots. Each spot offered different things to see. No experience needed. Our captain had a snacks and fruit and drinks available for us. The captain and mate were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour!!
Captain Carl and Bibi are not only great people, they are both very knowledgeable of the area. It is evident they truly enjoy sharing the culture, history and beauty of their island.
Ocean Encounters Aruba...an excellent relaxing day on the beautiful waters of Aruba with Captain's Carl and Bibi, a husband and wife team. My wife did a lot of online searching prior to our trip to figure out what activities to do during our first visit to Aruba. During her online search she discovered Ocean Encounters. All reviews on Trip Advisor were 5 star so we reached out to Ocean Encounters through What's App. All communications were positive and answered quickly which is reassuring. The plan was to spend a full day charter on their boat, which has new Mercury 4 stroke power (quiet, smooth, reliable), sight seeing and snorkeling. When we arrived at our launch point to meet Carl and Bibi, the boat was already in the water and they were waiting for us with smiles. The boat was clean and ready to go. The food they packed for us included delicious fresh fruit, sausage and cheese snacks, and food for small sandwiches. We were also offered the opportunity to get food from a local on water restaurant. However we did not need to stop as the food Bibi packed was more than enough for our day on the water. They also had a cooler full of soda and water. It was quite windy the day we were out and a bit rough. Carl and Bibi are very safe captains so we were comfortable and safe all day. Both were very pleasant to be around which is important when you are in close quarters all day on a boat. Snorkeling was fantastic like being in an aquarium seeing many different types of beautiful fish and squid. We arrived back at the launch with plenty of time to return home to shower and get ready for dinner. Highly recommend Ocean Encounters based on our experience.
Best excursion I have ever been on! Captains Bibi and Carl were the best ever. This was no mere tour , but an adventure.
Wondeful day! Booked a full day private boat with 3 people for my birthday and Captain Bibi ensures I was spoiled. She was well attentive refilling drinks and serving food. Captain Carl was a wonderful snorkeling guide. We will book this tour again when we visit Aruba again and highly recommend! Best day of the trip by far.
Absolutely unforgettable snorkeling trip in Aruba! The water was crystal clear, and within minutes we were surrounded by vibrant schools of fish in every color you can imagine. The highlight was spotting multiple sea turtles gliding effortlessly through the water-such a surreal and peaceful experience. We also explored a shipwreck, which was incredible to see up close. It added a whole different level of adventure, with fish swimming in and around the structure. It felt like stepping into another world. If you're visiting Aruba, this is a must-do. Thank you Carl and Shine for an unforgettable experience.
Our family had an absolutely incredible boat charter experience in Aruba with Ocean Encounters—truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the very beginning, Bibi went above and beyond. After we submitted our booking request, she reached out via WhatsApp and helped us thoughtfully plan the perfect itinerary for our family (traveling with our one- and four-year-old boys). Based on her recommendation, we booked a 4-hour charter from 10–2 to explore the reef islands on the southeast side of Aruba and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The area was calm, shallow, and completely sheltered, making it ideal for young kids. The mangroves lining the reef created this stunning, river-like path where we could wade and snorkel, spotting all kinds of beautiful fish along the way. Bibi’s communication leading up to the trip was exceptional. She made sure we knew exactly what to expect, what to bring, and where to meet, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free. She even checked in ahead of time about food allergies. The boat itself was fantastic—clean, spacious, and comfortable. They had a cooler stocked with sodas and water, plus fresh fruit and cheese for snacks. Midway through the trip, they served lunch (delicious, fresh salads on rolls from Super Food), which was such a great touch. Our captain, Carl (Bibi’s husband), along with their son Shine, made the experience even more special. Carl’s knowledge of the area and his ability to take us to quieter, less-traveled spots really elevated the day. You can tell this is a family that truly cares about what they do. We love supporting locally owned, family-run businesses—especially when they deliver an experience this memorable. Bibi, Carl, and Shine created something really special for our family, and we’re so grateful. If you’re considering a boat charter in Aruba, don’t think twice—book with Ocean Encounters. You won’t regret It!
A wonderful 3hr boat trip well managed by Bibi and Carl. Our family group covered a very wide age range and this trip exceeded our expectations. We were taken to some lovely snorkelling sites to enjoy seeing some of Aruba’s sea life. First time snorkelers were well supported and therefore felt safe in the water throughout. Equipment provided was good and the boat was very comfortable and well handled. We were made very welcome Bibi and Carl and highly recommend them.
We took a private tour with Carl and Shine and the day couldn’t have gotten any better. We saw lots of fish and turtles and Carl took us to his special spot that was very private. They made us feel at home with all the snacks and cocktails and the friendship. Highly recommend for the day.
