Thessaloniki Wine Journey to an Iconic Winery (Cruise Friendly)

Dora is lovely and the vineyard is beautiful!! We really enjoyed the tour of the winery + impressive collection of corkscrews and wine items, and tasting the wines did not disappoint. Dora also was super knowledgeable and even went the extra mile to take my husband and I to a great lookout point with beautiful views of Thessaloniki and recommended great places for us to eat dinner and buy olive oil to bring back to our friends and family! Definitely recommend!

Dora is an excellent guide. She picked us up near our apartment and took us to the vineyard. We chatted along the journey and she pointed out landmarks and areas. When we arrived at the vineyard we had 30 minutes to explore on our own before returning to Dora and tasting 5 wines produced at the winery. Afterwards we were given a 1 hour tour and talk by the winery staff. This was as part of a bigger group. It was very interesting. Dora then took us back to the city. We asked to be dropped off at the Old Town which Dora was happy to do. She also spent a few minutes with us there pointing out more landmarks. We would highly recommend Dora for this experience. Amazing half day tour of the most beautiful winery in the area. Started with a tour of the winery including the museum of winery related artifacts and tools dating back centuries. We then had a wine tasting paired with bites that completely enhanced the taste of the wine. But most of all was Dora our guide for this tour. Absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about the history of the area. She took us on a historical tour of the city on the way back to our ship. My highest recommendation for this tour and for Dora!

Dora was the best! She got us coffee on the way which was so nice. She knew the in’s and out’s of the winery and was very flexible with drop off. She made our experience wonderful. I’d highly recommend her.

We had an amazing winery tour today in Thessaloniki with our wonderful guide, Dora! She was incredibly kind and accommodating—she even offered to pick us up near our Airbnb and dropped us off there afterward, which made everything so convenient. Dora was lovely, super friendly, and very easy to talk to. We had great conversations with her throughout the day, and she made the whole experience feel even more special. Dora took us to a beautiful winery and was really helpful and informative. The five wines were all nice but the measures were quite small. That's why it is four stars and not five.

This was such a lovely trip. Our host Dora could not have been more accommodating and was so friendly throughout. The small food pairings with the tasting were really well thought out. The setting was also gorgeous.

The wine farm Ktima is about 5km from Peraia Thessaloniki. They produce high quality wines and the restaurant/wine tasting area is beautiful. Their platters to go with your wine tasting are great. The area around the restaurant and winery are landscaped with beautiful artistic pieces and beautiful gardens. Looking over the vineyards, that also include artworks, you can see the sea. The museum is a MUST and has a spectacular display. We visit this beautiful venue often and never tire of returning to show friends this amazing gem.
