O Parque Arqueológico de Dion é o sítio arqueológico mais importante do Monte Olimpo na Grécia, localizado em Dion (em grego: Δίον). Na área compreendida pelo Parque Arqueológico de Dion, foram encontrados santuários dos períodos helenístico e romano. O parque mostra a importância da antiga Dion na história de Pieria.
O Mosteiro de Agios Dionysios no Olimpo é um mosteiro ortodoxo grego nas encostas do Monte Olimpo, o mosteiro mais importante da Prefeitura de Pieria. Está localizado na ravina de Enipeas a uma altitude de 850 m O mosteiro original, fundado em 1542, foi destruído pelos alemães em 1943. Perto está a gruta de São Dionísio.
Enipeas, o rio que atravessa os flancos do Monte Olimpo e fornece essa água sagrada e uma fabulosa interação de piscinas e cachoeiras até Litochoro!
Aninhada ao longo do sopé do Monte Olimpo, está uma autêntica vila macedônia conhecida como Litochoro, que remonta ao século XIV. É um lugar bonito e pitoresco para desfrutar do nosso almoço com comida grega local.

We were very excited to take this tour, but unfortunately it was canceled by the tour operator less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure. The initial reason provided was “low availability,” though we later learned that the driver had been involved in a car accident and no replacement was available. While we understand that unexpected situations can arise, the last-minute cancellation was disappointing, especially since tour options in Thessaloniki were limited and it left us without time to make alternative plans. We were looking forward to this experience and were sorry to miss it.

The Mercedes is extremely comfortable and Janny is a great driver and Gina provided insights to the area. We were blessed with sunshine half way thru the tour. The waterfall hike and a discussion with greek priest were very memorable and spiritual! Highly recommend f 9r a personal journey!
