The Experience for our guests was incredible.
The drive was GOOD but the operator actually forgot about our booking. At 10 am when we phoned her up she was confused. Then the company sent us a GOOD guy, a student who was nice but not a professional guide. He had been called in an emergency You do not expect this to happen in an individually booked tour which is expensive. Then the guide was not aware of the itenrary, but was a sweet fellow and di his best
It was an amazing tour of the area. It was definitely off season, but that was no disadvantage. The Black Forest offers a surprise around every corner. The elegance of Belle Epoque Baden Baden contrasts remarkably with the mysterious nature of the dark forest. Our young guide, Philipp, offered an unmatched local perspective to the entire re.
We were there for an emergency medical trip (my mother in law got sick and my wife and I went to retrieve her) but they still managed to make the trip worth it! Great drivers/guides, great cars, seamless communication. They even accommodated ensuring that the vehicle they sent us would be very easy for my mother in law to get in/out of! Amazing people.
I booked the trip for my family from Brazil through you and am very satisfied. The organization was straightforward, the service friendly and everything worked smoothly. Thank you for the excellent support! Sincerely, Davi Coutinho Barbosa
Our tour guide was pleasant, but he did not possess any special or unique knowledge of the city or its environs. Kind of felt like a Wikipedia tour. His tour was not very well organized and at one point in time, we ended our solo portion of the tour at Mummelsee ( a tourist trap), to find him napping in the car. Nice young man, but he seemed to be guiding as a bridge to something else rather than as a passion, and this was not an inexpensive tour.
Very friendly and courteous service, four star Mood and the best ice cream within 10Km.it is not an understatement when I say it is the best restaurant in the area!!
My family and I had the best day touring Baden-Baden & the Black Forest with Cesar. We started with a lovely introduction of the different parts of Baden-Baden. Cesar was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We then spent the afternoon exploring the Black Forest. We enjoyed wineries, adorable little towns, waterfalls, and the most beautiful views! Cesar kept the tour upbeat and fun.
My guide was phenomenal. Knowledgeable and professional. Restaurant selection was excellent. Totally flexible.
Cezar Sanduleac was our guide for this tour. He was not very informative and seemed to be a little upset with my husband and I because we explored Baden-Baden when we arrived and saw some of the sights that were on the tour. He also did not like the fact that we are an older couple (76 and 81) and I was recovering from pneumonia and could not climb up hills rapidly because of shortness of breath. He cut several activities down to not at all or drive by rather than stop and let us explore. Very disappointed with the entire tour, especially given the high price and length of tour. Cesar cut out over an hour of tour time and when I asked to go to a store to pick up something to eat the next morning, he drove out of the way, through a tunnel to near when he lived when we could have found something near the hotel.
Dear Marjori, Thank you for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the tour, but I would like to clarify a few important points from my perspective. First of all, I never had any issue with the fact that you and your husband are older. On the contrary, I always showed understanding and adapted the tour to your needs. For example, when we reached the Old Castle and you told me you couldn’t continue due to shortness of breath, I completely respected your decision to stop and offered to return to the car without any pressure. Regarding the amount of free time and flexibility – at the Mummelsee, I specifically gave you time to explore. I was always trying to balance the pace of the tour with your comfort in mind, including breaks and time on your own. As for the information provided, I made sure to explain the key highlights at each location we visited. I regret that it did not meet your expectations, but I did my best to share relevant and interesting facts about the sites in a clear and engaging way. Concerning the stop for groceries: you mentioned you needed specific food due to a health condition (related to sugar levels), so I suggested going to a larger store like Kaufland for better selection. The route through the tunnel was chosen simply because it was faster and the city center has the traffic – not because it was near where I live (which it isn’t). It was purely a practical decision. Throughout the tour, I made every effort to adapt the itinerary to your needs, even though we were unable to complete all sites in full due to physical limitations – for instance, we didn’t fully visit the Old Castle, which involves more walking. Still, we managed to include several key attractions, including a wine tasting, where you seemed to enjoy the experience and even purchased a bottle. Lastly, I’d like to mention that at the end of the tour, I specifically asked if everything was okay, and you responded positively. Based on that, I believed you were satisfied with the experience. I wish you and your husband all the best and good health. Sincerely, Cezar Sanduleac
