We were truly happy to discover Teotihuacan with Leïla, who was an absolutely wonderful guide. Passionate and engaging, she knows a lot and conveys it with great clarity, generosity, and enthusiasm. We particularly appreciated her approach: starting with the museum to understand the history of the place, then continuing with the discovery of the site itself, enriched with many anecdotes, fascinating scientific and historical hypotheses. This adds a lot of depth to the visit and allows you to see Teotihuacan in a different light. Leïla, a polyglot, also adapts very well to the needs of the group, whether in terms of timing, itinerary, pace, or interests. This is an experience we highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Not only did we learn, get to set your own pace, and see some astonishing things, but our guide Lilah was incredible. She was knowledgeable, kind, and lovely to meet. This day trop is worth your while and you will leave with an even greater appreciation for history, this culture, and Mexico as a whole
Our kids (10&13) will always remember this experience. Our guide, Laila, was both inspirational and accommodating. Our youngest was reluctant to spend time at the museum and left having learned about the culture and site.
Laila gives one of the best tours we've ever had! She is very knowledgeable, curious, fun, friendly and professional. She loves to hear your stories and has a lot of good ones of her own to share too. We learned a ton of fascinating things about the people who lived there in the past while leaving with a senes of mystery at the end. Laila went above and beyond with other recommendations around Mexico City, even helping us to get a reservation at a walk-in only place! A truly special tour and morning for us!
Had a great tour of the Teotihuacan with David. He was engaging, fun, informative, and knowledgeable—and not only about the pyramids and the history of the ancient city (at least the theories of the city and pyramids, as not everything is known for certain), but also of Mexico City and Mexico in general. He answered all our questions and had some real interesting insights. The tour went at the perfect pace for us. We had fun, saw some amazing sites, and learned some cool stuff. Shout out to our driver, Omar, as well. Highly recommend!
You might find private tours with hundreds or thousands of reviews, but trust me when I say, this is the one you want to book to have the best experience exploring Mexico City. Our guide Laila was the most wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and fun host that we could have hoped for. She has a passion for indigenous and Mexican history, and told captivating stories about Teotihuacan and the Basílica of our Lady Guadalupe. It was like touring Mexico City with a family member or best friend. She was prompt, communicated clearly before our tour, and was accommodating in every possible way. We were able to tour Teotihuacan without crowds in our way, giving us an intimate experience of the fascinating temple complex. Laila and her company offer many different experiences touring Mexico City, with an emphasis on making it personal and welcoming, we know that when we come back to visit this beautiful city, we’ll be booking with Laila again to see more of what this culturally rich place has to offer. Trust me, book this tour.
Everything was efficient, professional and enjoyable. We were picked up on time and our driver (Israel) was great. Our guide (Laila) was wonderful. Her knowledge was extensive and she was passionate about presenting the history and details of this amazing site. Lunch at La Gruta was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour (and especially this guide) to anyone.
One of the best private tours I’ve experienced. I’ve traveled both for work and pleasure my entire adult life. My tour guide David was knowledgeable, personable and genuinely interested in my expectations. David exceeded all my expectations
I highly recommend! We enjoyed laila and her French so much that we rescheduled a visit. Always smiling and exciting. She really likes what she does, really knows her subject, she taught us a lot and doesn’t look at time. Thank you for everything laila this day was great and your company indispensable. We were very lucky to make this visit with you! Julien
A truly unique tour to discover the pyramids, their history, and what it says about them. Laila, with an incredible kindness and warmth, does everything to ensure that we have the most pleasant visit. She is full of anecdotes about the place, the history of Mexico, and takes the time to answer questions each time. The visit would not have been the same without her, and her look at the site. It was one of the best experiences to start my journey in Mexico. To do without hesitation! Thank you so much!
