My wife and I did the Street Food Tour of South Lake Union and had a really good time. All of the food and drinks were delicious and the portions were big enough that we took some to go. Chef Eric was extremely knowledgeable and added a lot of cool food history in addition to the business and local history. We'd absolutely do another tour through the Eat Seattle Tours and are going to grab a drink at one of the stops again later tonight!
Thank you for the wonderful review, Trr287! We are thrilled that you and your wife had such a good time tasting delicious street food and learning history with Chef Eric. Enjoy your drinks back at that spot tonight!
Eric’s tour was thoughtful, food was great and well portioned!
Thanks, Samuel! We are thrilled to hear that Chef Eric provided such a thoughtful tour. It is wonderful that the food and portions were a great fit for you!
Great food and super informative tour guide. We’ve lived in Seattle 25+ years and still learned new things about our city.
This tour was really great. My wife and I took the tour and it did not disappoint. It didn't feel super touristy at all. It was just the right amount of history and interesting facts and a lot of great food. Eric told us about the city, the restaurants, and the food. He was a wealth of knowledge. Eric clearly had a deep knowledge and appreciation for good food. The tour is run by chefs and they obviously care. He was great to talk to, had interesting stories, seemed to know everyone, and just made it all around fun. Absolute joy. Didn't even mind that it was raining that day. We managed to stay dry enough with overhangs and buildings. Would do it again. Great experience. My only complaint is there was more food than I could eat.
Thanks! We are absolutely thrilled to hear you and your wife had such a joyful experience, and it’s wonderful that Eric’s deep knowledge and passion for food shone through, even in the rain! We’re glad the overhanging buildings kept you dry, and we’ll take "too much food" as a badge of honor—though we apologize for letting you leave too full!
Chef Eric was a friendly, knowledgeable guide with a passion for food and a personal connection to each stop on the tour. We learned a lot while geeking out over sourcing ingredients and supporting local businesses. We immediately started recommending this tour to our friends and family on the way home!
Chef Eric was very knowledgeable in general about the culinary world, and he selected a great variety of foods for us to sample in and around the SLU neighborhood where Amazon is based. Chef Eric was friendly, down to earth, and easy to chat with.

Eric is clearly a professional and knowledgeable Chef. He guided our group to a great collection of tastings and each one a delight. Such a fun tour.

Chef Eric was knowledgeable and entertaining and the food was delicious! Portions were generous, more than just single bites many tours give. Gave us a great snapshot of the variety of options in a part of town we don’t usually visit. Would highly recommend this tour for tourists and locals alike!
Thanks for the great feedback! We're so glad you had such a delicious and generous experience with Chef Eric. It's wonderful to hear that the tour was so valuable for you and we appreciate you recommending it to both locals and visitors alike!
great variety of foods you get to try, my only critic is that my friend couldn't eat pork, so I thought they would give her chicken options, but they gave her tofu instead
