As others mentioned, if you like loud music and drinking, this tour is for you. There is a disconnect between the description (going to a sugar can farm vs. the cruise). The snorkeling was good, but a bit crowded. Seemed like about 100 people on the boat which was a bit much. Crew was fun and they kept the deck and bathrooms very clean which was appreciated. It did provide a beautiful sunset and tour of the coast. Saw a whale spout and some dolphin dorsal fins as well which was nice. Would have been nice to play more mellow music near sunset to strike a more romantic mood. One thing missing was self serve or convenient drinking water. Had to wait at the bar to get a cup of water. For those of us not drinking alcohol, it was harder to stay refreshed.
Had such a fun time, the hosts were wonderful, the lunch was yummy just very fun!!!! would say this is something you should do. A.Henry
The music was unbearably loud. It was like being at a rock concert. The only way to survive is with ear plugs. The "open bar" had no whisky and only the very cheapest liquor. They didnt even have the basic Imperial or Pilsen beer. They served only rice, chips, guacamole, and pineapple. It was not worth waiting in line to eat it. I would NOT recommend to anyone.
Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Though we appreciate your perspective, I must point out that we had other travelers on the very same boat who not only enjoyed the music, but absolutely enjoyed dancing talking amongst each other and the beautiful sunset. They also appreciated the light meal (fruits, chips, guacamole, pico de gallo, mixed rice with chicken & porc) and all the varied drinks provided at the bar.
This crew was top notch! Despite it was raining the entire time, this crew made up for the weather by being super fun.
Good food and service. The spagetti is the best I have had in Costa Rica. Hours are irregular and haard to figure their schedule.
Qualified driver and careful very clean car, competent staff knowing the history and habits of Costa Rica. Speaks three Spanish, French and English languages. The owners are very kind

This tour was very interesting and educating for all of us. We enjoyed the ride, the view, the activity, the guide. Was all great. I recommand this ercusion. We had a great time.
Even though my husband and I have been living in Costa Rica for over a year this tour gave us and our visiting guests a chance to experience Costa Rican history and culture in a totally different way. Pepito was fabulous. It was a busy and exciting day. We all thoroughly enjoyed both the experience and additional things we learned about this wonderful country and it’s people. We look forward to other Costours in the future.
We can to Costa Rica wanting to do adventures and see nature yes indeed but we also wanted to get to the the real traditional Costa Rica. We came in contact with Pepito from Costour some time ago and loved our experiences back then and decided to do it again this time with Costour.
