Lexie is a fun and outgoing tour guide! We enjoyed every minute of this fun and informative tour of several local highlights.

My husband and I had an incredible experience on this tour. Even though we paid the regular group price, it ended up being just the two of us, basically a private tour! What really made the difference was our guide. He's a genuine local (not someone who just moved to the area for work), and his whole family, including his kids, works as guides too. Their deep knowledge of the area and its wildlife is unmatched. Because he knows the region so well, he didn't just check the usual spots where all the tour groups wait for bears. That day, there were no bears at any of the typical viewing locations, even after trying several times. Instead, our guide remembered seeing bears near a local resident's house before, so we went and checked there, and sure enough, the bears were there! Our guide also specially bought fish to feed the eagles, which turned into an amazing show of its own. He threw the fish on the beach, and the eagles swooped down and caught them in mid-air, such a thrilling thing to watch! This kind of local knowledge is exactly why I'd highly recommend this tour. You're getting a guide who actually lives here and knows the area, not someone brought in from outside like with most other agencies. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

My husband, his mom and I came to see Alaska so we didn’t cruise. We flew into Ketchikan via Alaska and are so glad we did. This was our first tour on a 3 day trip and we saw a rocky beach with tide pools, a mink scampering across the road with a fish, bear scat, a gorgeous waterfall, beautiful blue and black birds, and deer. Unfortunately no bears on our trip, but that’s wildlife for you. When the very nice guide, Lexi, dropped us off for lunch we saw a bald eagle in the parking lot on a light post! Later from our room at The Inn at Creek Street, we saw a harbor seal swimming up the creek.

It was terrible. The guide knew very little about the area. She kept taking us back to the same place

Our guide Lexi was full of local knowledge and fun facts about Ketchikan and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great tour! We saw sea life at Rotary Beach, the Salmon Ladder and our personal highlight seeing bears at Herring Cove. We would definitely recommend booking this tour when you visit Ketchikan.
