Trip overall was good but didn't get long enough in Gozo...was only there for approximately 1 and a half hours.
This is a very enjoyable trip that takes you to Comino and Gozo, two interesting islands in the Malta archipelago. The blue lagoon is fantastic and certainly worth a visit. The cruise itself is quite pleasant and shows much of the area around Malta. Gozo is a nice place to visit. But the trip basically takes you to Victoria and drops you there for a couple of hours with no guide. I wish they had someone explain the history of the island and guide us to the places worth visiting. Still the trip is worthwhile.
Had a great time, beautiful locations and lovely boat trip
A must when visiting Malta. Interesting cruise with stops in the port of Gozo. Bus to Victoria with your own time in 90 minutes. Then cruise to Comino with the possibility of swimming in the Blue Lagoon. On the boat there was the opportunity to buy drinks and simple food (hamburgers). Nice staff on board. Guide in English via speaker.
The Luzzu cruisers tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Malta, and we must say it exceeded our expectations, thanks to the weather and the sea. I also dared to take two slides, but you only live once. Cliffs, caves, and the blue lagoon. Bars and restrooms are very clean.
Everything was well organized. The crew was very nice, friendly, and helpful. We had plenty of time for the visit to the citadel. The transfer to Victoria on Gozo went smoothly. The Blue Lagoon was, of course, completely overcrowded, but we were able to enjoy the truly crystal-clear water from the boat away from the hustle and bustle. Who also wanted to go down a slide? The prices on board for drinks and snacks were reasonable. We received a lot for our money.
This is an excellent way to see Gozo We had a 75 minute ferry to Gozo then a short bus trip into town - enough time for a bite to eat and brief wander around. Then back to the boat to the Comino blue lagoon! It was beautiful but bonkers! You can swim from the boat or brave the lagoon itself. This is not a sunbathing trip. There are no places to lie down or really get any sun, which is fine but manage your expectations. There are around 200 passengers. There is mostly shade and it does get blowy during the ferry ride. NB - you HAVE to get a blue lagoon landing pass - it’s free and easy to do, but you do need one to board
The trip is worth it! The ride is well organized, and everything runs quite smoothly. Visiting the citadel in Gozo offers great views and is also free. You only have to pay admission for the museums. The Blue Lagoon is truly worth seeing; however, on May 30th, it was so overcrowded that we preferred to swim from the boat instead. Particularly pleasing: due to an illness, we could not attend the tour on the originally booked date; a brief message to the organizer was sufficient, and we were immediately rescheduled for the following day. 😊
Boat tied to shore and gave us a terrible spot to swim. If you want to enjoy yourself then take a catamaran and forget this boat.
Dear Sam_H, We re sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience. Blue lagoon jetties are controlled by Transport Malta and the authorities tell us which jetty is available at the time so it doesn't matter which boat to take, because the captain has to follow the authority s orders. Hope you ll enjoy the rest of your stay in Malta. Kind regards Luzzu Cruises
The whole day from start to finish was amazing and well planned. Thank you!
