A vinícola está situada muito perto do porto, com vista para a magnífica caldeira de Santorini. Foi construída em 1947 pela família Venetsanos e se tornou a primeira vinícola industrial da ilha.
Esta propriedade vinícola estabelecida existe há gerações. Agora em sua 4ª geração, ainda produz vinhos autênticos dos solos vulcânicos de Santorini.
Esta propriedade vinícola está localizada em uma praia, no lado leste da ilha, entre as aldeias de Kamari e Monolithos. O seu edifício industrial de pedra foi outrora uma fábrica de tomate, construída no início dos anos 1900 e utilizada até aos anos 1970 para fazer puré de tomate aromático a partir de tomate cereja local. Fundada em 1903, a família Argyros tem um legado na fabricação de vinhos que se estende por décadas. Como o maior proprietário de vinhas privadas de Santorini, eles agora possuem mais de 120 hectares.níveis de acidez e estrutura sólida.
Tem suas raízes em 1952. Está inextricavelmente ligada aos vinhedos vulcânicos de Santorini e à tradição vinícola. Atualmente, seus vinhos continuam ganhando prêmios em competições internacionais e nacionais, sendo atualmente a terceira maior vinícola de Santorini em termos de volume de produção.

If you're in Santorini and thinking about a wine tour, do this one. I booked with Giannis from Wineland Tours having basically no clue about wine, and he completely changed that in a few hours. By the end I could actually pick out the acidity in a glass, tell the different bottles apart, and I finally understood what makes Assyrtiko so special on this island. He explains it in a way that's easy to follow and never makes you feel out of your depth. Whether you're a wine person or a total beginner like I was, you'll get something out of it. Genuinely one of the highlights of the trip 🙏
Yiannis is a friendly and VERY knowledgable level three WSET sommelier. We so appreciated his willingness to have us experience 6+ varieties of grapes from Santorini. We learned so very much about grape growing here And plan to research Greek wine in the USA. What a beautiful island to walk and visit! It is a gem amongst the Greek Islands. Argyris was our wonderful tour guide. So friendly and knowledgeable. He took us first to Koutsogiannopoulos wine museum, which wasn’t the best. Then to to Estate Argyros and last to Venetsanos. All the wineries are paid for once you book this. You could probably ask to go to a different winery or even Santos which is more touristy but it is right next to Venetsanos. Highly recommend using or asking for him to be your guide.
