Segue-se Santo Espírito, freguesia detentora do maior exemplo do barroco açoriano – a sua notável igreja;
Descemos até à Maia, outra baía conhecida da ilha pela sua paisagem vinhateira, bem como a Cascata do Aveiro, segunda cascata mais alta de Portugal;
Já bem na Costa Sul, repousa outro famoso geossítio para contemplação – a Ribeira do Maloás. Suas estruturas semelhantes a pilares são resultado da contração horizontal ocorrida à medida que a lava esfriava. Semelhante ao Giant's Causeway na Irlanda, mas mais legal.
Junto ao Pico Alto, ponto mais alto da ilha onde poderá ter uma vista de 360º e apreciar tudo o que viu até agora (se as condições meteorológicas o permitirem!).
Termine o passeio na Praia Formosa, a praia de areia mais popular dos Açores e anfitriã do mais antigo festival de música ininterrupta de Portugal, o Festival Maré de Agosto desde 1984.

There are no words to express our experience with Henrique and his amazing tour in Santa Maria! I have never had a tour with a guide with such a limitless variety and depth of knowledge, plus a charming, friendly and spiritual personality! In the end of the day we had a unique experience, we adored the beauties of this island and we gained serious knowledge about the Azores regarding history, geology, art and natural life. My sincerest recommendation for this tour, it's absolutely unique, don't miss it!
Exceptional! Henry was a spectacular guide, we loved it. We were two friends traveling and it was a whole day to know the best corners of the island. All very nice, highly recommend!!

It was very excellent, guide is very friendly and showed the fantastic places, a pity I wasn't at Pico Alto because it was very fog and rain. But it was very fantastic. I really loved it. Congratulations to the professional guide.

The tour was awesome! Is absolutely recommended if you want something special. The jeep takes you safely across the island and the guide has all the information. Lunch was simple but just right. In the end, there are even places that can be reached very easily to explore on your own the next day. Thank you for this experience:)

This was a wonderful back road view of the entire island, filled with facts about the history, the culture, the flora, and the natural landscape. The home made picnic of traditional food was an extra treat.

All of the island highlights and as much as possible on beautiful back roads. The guide provided a lot of information about the parishes, the flora, the history, and the landmarks.
