We were only in town for 24 hours so we wanted a tour that would give us a “taste” of Santa Barbara and this was the perfect choice. Our tour guide Courtney, was so knowledgeable about the area and took us to the best places for a variety of amazing local food and drinks. Everything was delicious and combined with the murals and other local art, I highly recommend this tour.

This is like my 3rd time doing a tour with the SBTT company. Every time friends come to town, I take them on a tour since it's so fun (and you gotta eat somewhere so why not on a tour?) This time for a change I decided to try the tour in the Funk Zone which of course did not disappoint! We socialized with the other people on the tour while walking around and learning some about the cool history of this hip and trendy area of Santa Barbara. The guide, Maddy was fantastic and the earphones were a big help so we could hear her if we weren't standing right next to her. We tried a lots different foods and drinks. Even tho I've lived in SB for years these tours always seem to teach me something new about the great town I live in! Definitely worth doing with friends or even co-workers.

I went with my team of 15 people on this Funk Zone food tour. We went to all these fun hipster foodie places and learned all about the history of the Funk Zone and this very special area which encompasses 13 square blocks very close to the ocean. Maddie our tour guide was fantastic, we all wore head phones and could hear everything she said, what a real treat! Our team was able to walk around and socialize with each other at 5 different venues. Highly recommend!

Amazing team experience 15 of us came up from Long Beach and had the best time. Our Tour Guide guides (we had three of them). Made sure the tour ran smoothly …loved wearing the headsets. We got a lot of information about the history of Santa Barbara and the Mexican cuisine tacos and drinks were great.

I took my team on this funk zone food tour. Every year we take them on a different experience. This one by far was the best team activity highly recommend

The tour runs from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, but we were having such a blast that we naturally went overtime. Every stop felt like a hidden gem. We began with fresh Mahi Mahi tacos and Chardonnay in the relaxing courtyard at Fox Wine Co. Later, the Smash Burger taco at Validation Ale proved to be an unexpected flavor bomb that paired perfectly with their beer flight. The finale was a perfect Sushi Sandwich followed by Dole Whip at the new Happy Cat Eats.
We took this Funk Zone tour as a family and it was such an easy, enjoyable way to explore the area. The guide kept everyone engaged, and the walk was very manageable. It felt fun and educational without being overwhelming.

If you’re spending time in the Funk Zone, this tour is a no-brainer. We loved walking between stops, enjoying the waterfront atmosphere, and tasting some of the best wine and food Santa Barbara has to offer. Everything was well organized and stress-free. We would absolutely book this tour again.

We had heard so much about the Funk Zone and this tour was the perfect way to explore it. We sampled great wine and food, learned about the neighborhood’s transformation, and discovered spots we went back to later on our own. The pacing was great and never felt rushed. Nathan was An amazing guide and made it very fun. Highly recommend this tour to first-time visitors.
