We had an absolute blast with these puzzles! The puzzles were just the right amount of challenging for us. We did have to use clues on the last one but the other ones were really satisfying when we eventually solved them. We’ve talked about getting this for our family in other cities and also getting these for each new city we visit. We absolutely loved it. We got drinks and lunch along the way and spent a really nice afternoon running around the city. Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes puzzles and escape rooms!
We have previously done the Dallas city Whodunnit, and had a really fun time doing the Denver upper downtown activity. It took us about 3 hours, and involved a medium amount of walking which we expected and enjoyed as it took us around some really fun parts of Denver. There was one clue that we found pretty easily but if it was snowing you would have a very difficult time to find it, so be mindful of that when you plan your trip. Also, we decided to park somewhere other than the recommendation from the box, and it was a lot cheaper and still only a short walk.
I am a teacher at The Logan School in Denver. At our school, students have the unique opportunity to choose their unit of study, and my job is to provide them with real-life, hands-on experiences. This year, we used the escape room as a unit experience for our students studying spies, escape rooms, solving crimes, and experience design. We had an incredible time solving the puzzles, and one of our favorite moments was the twist at the end that kept us on our toes! Additionally, we loved discovering the hidden gems on the streets of our city, which changed our perspective and allowed us to appreciate the tiny details of our surroundings in a whole new way. Exploring downtown Denver was not only fun but also a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with their city on a deeper level—plus, there were some amazing photo ops along the way!Overall, our experience was enriching, enjoyable, and truly memorable. We can’t wait for our next adventure with Escapely!
We were happy that it wasn't too easy. It had a lot of clever puzzles that all required a different approach. Definitely makes good use of a diverse group with varied skills. I do not know Denver at all, but that didn't make it any more difficult. Fun to do an escape "room" outside! I recommend early morning to avoid big crowds. We will definitely do Escapely in it other cities. FYI, drinks at Vibe coffee shop were great, but the food was really overpriced for crappy microwaved sandwiches. I recommend going somewhere else for breakfast! Including a Denver photo just for fun that has nothing to do with the game, so we don't give any puzzles away!
Nice way to spend the day and explore Denver. We enjoyed being able to take it at our own pace and stop for a bite to eat. We are grateful the construction didn’t block view of some of the clues.
My friends and I had a blast playing this game around Denver! It was great to see new parts of the city and engage with public art that we might have just walked by int the past. We enjoyed the ability to go at our own pace, stopping for food or coffee breaks along the way. So fun!
We had a great time with the Escape Denver game! There were many clever and fun clues and a couple tough ones that we had to use a hint (or two) for. But we finished and had a lot of fun. Had a nice walk around the area. The amount of walking was just right.
This was a fun experience! We did it as a family with a 11 and 12 year old, and as veterans of a handful of escape rooms, it was a nice difficulty level for a family. We did split it into 2 mornings due to our children's attention spans. It's even fun as Denver natives to find and explore areas we may not as much as we should. Would definitely recommend and look into when visiting other cities.
It was a fantastic experience. The clues were challenging and yet solvable. If we got stuck, we could get a hint. At one point, we needed to call Escapely. They were helpful and supportive. It's perfect for school age children to do with adults. We learned a lot about Denver. I would do it again in a different city!!!
Had a great time walking around Denver with family solving puzzles. The puzzles were challenging but they do a fantastic job of giving you a few or as many hints as you need. Even when we got hints we were still able to solve parts of the problem on our own.
