Micah was a great guide with lots of knowledge of the area and the history of Denver and the places in the tour. Very enjoyable experience. Small group is the way to go.
Nature was amazing. Micah was a really good guy.
It was a great day trip, Michael was very interactive and he had great knowledge about Colorado and its history, overall it was worth time and money, covered Garden of Gods and Pikes Peak in a day
We booked the trolley to go through Garden of the Gods. It was a perfect pickup meeting place just outside the building and we travelled through a huge portion seeing all the different rock formations. The guide was very good at explaining how the rocks were formed and all of the names of the formations.
Alex was a terrific guide and driver. He shared lots of history, stats, local details, and stories, plus he was extra helpful with my disabled husband. Garden of the Gods was crowded, but magnificent. He gave us plenty of time to wander. The visit to Pike's Peak was absolutely incredible - stunning vistas, but hydrate to help with altitude sickness! Worth it for a superb overview of this area outside Denver. Definitely recommend.
Worthwhile trip to see some of nature’s wonders. Garden of the Gods was a great first stop to see the vertical rock formations. Manitou Springs is a charming mountain town where we stopped to get a quick lunch and do some souvenir shopping. The main event was Pike Peak - the drive up the mountain was exhilarating with all the turns and switchbacks which gave us all sorts of forever views. Our guide Ryan was terrific in every way - he was a conscientious and careful driver and quite knowledgeable and made our journey better.
Overall good trip. Pikes Peak is a 19 mile winding road up to 14000 or so feet. Cold up there and low oxygen level. Some may suffer altitude sickness as I did. Beautiful view and unique experience. Garden of the Gods is also a unique experience. About 60% of the trip is travel in the van. Small group of 11 in our van. Very pleasant group. Great guide.
An enjoyable day. Comfortable van and tour guide Zach was friendly and efficient. Garden of the Gods was beautiful. Lunch break at Manitou was a fun place to eat and shop. The ride up to Pike’s Peak was long and windy, well worth it for the summit views.
I highly recommend this trip. We went mid July and it was about 95 degrees in town but 65 degrees on top of mountain. It was quite windy so it felt colder at top of mountain, therefore be sure to bring a jacket or hoody. Alex was an excellent tour guide! We really enjoyed our daylong adventure. He gave information on everything and answered all of our questions. Even better—he provided information on questions we didn’t even think to ask—like the cost of being towed from Pike’s Peak 😳! Water was provided and it was plentiful. He is an amazing driver and we felt safe. We used motion sickness patches to help with the turns. Alex checked on us to ensure that we were all feeling okay with the altitude. He stopped to let out some guests that were not feeling well, but picked them back up on our way back down the mountain. At end of trip he even gave restaurant recommendations for all types of cuisines. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Ryan was a great guide. The trip was fun and well planned. It was very enjoyable.
