Será um dia completo, sem pressas e com dedicação, em que, o nosso Guia Certificado, vai acompanhá-lo, desde a Ponta dos Rosais até à Ponta do Topo. Na opção Full-day, terá a oportunidade de provar o famoso Queijo de São Jorge e o café da Fajã dos Vimes, saborear a típica espécie de São Jorge, após o almoço, incluído, em restaurante local. Uma Igreja do Séc. XVI, uma torre poupada pelo vulcão de 1808, cavidades vulcânicas, antigos trilhos para as Fajãs, fauna e flora são alguns exemplos do que podá ver. Se o tempo o permitir, poderá dar um mergulho na Poça de Simão Dias, com barbatanas e máscara, fornecidos por nós, para que possa ver a diversidade de peixes coloridos que aí se encontram. I had an excellent day with Tony from Barbosa Tours who was the executor of the trip in my case. Despite the weather had the best day and can highly recommend him!
We had Nuno as the guide, and he showed as much of his island as he could. Unfortunately the weather didn't play along well, so that we missed some views of the north side of the island. The south was very nice though, the cheese tasting and the Sao Jorge coffee being highlights. Some places like the Parque do Sete Fontes even benefited from the misty atmosphere. Other than that Nuno patiently explained and answered questions. He gave us nice memories of the island. Very convenient that he picked us up directly at our hotel.
Our driver and guide was sensational. He brought us very much closer to the island. Showed us places we hadn't seen before. Could answer all the questions. The driver was very careful and safe. The ride was very versatile and exciting.
My wife and I took this tour for our honeymoon. Derek was an awesome tour guide. A local who lives there, so he knows the island well. The views were beautiful. The best part was that Derek adapted the tour to our needs. The most fun part was when he were given free time to snorkel in a beautiful natural pool. It was so cool! We saw a lot of fish, and were surrounded by lava rock. A very memorable time

He really knows the island and if the sun is out, you will have a great time. If the sun is not out, be sure to ask about the weather before you take a long hike.
This was a very informative and beautiful tour that shows great parts of Sao Jorge Island. In my humble opinion, Sao Jorge is one of the prettiest islands in the Azores and in the full day tour we got to see really cool and beautiful places. It was very helpful as I couldn't rent a car. Our guide was Derek and he was very clear, patience and took really good care of the group. I highly recommend it!
This full day tour was the best was to see and celebrate all that is on the island of Sao Jorge! Our guide Nuno was kind, knowledgeable & made sure we never missed a moment of beauty or excitement throughout the day! Seeing the whole island, North, South, East & West - from tasting the Sao Jorge cheeses&visiting the factory, to swimming in natural pools, every stop along the way were well thought out and destinations you don’t want to miss! Even though the weather on Sao Jorge can be unpredictable, the rainy parts were just as wonderful to be in as the sunshine & our guide planned accordingly along with how the clouds were moving to make sure the trip was the best it could be! Added bonus: this tour picking guests up from their places of stay & dropping us all back off at the end ! 10/10 would recommend & do it all over again when I (hopefully) find my way back to Sao Jorge again in the future!
Truly, a memorable full day, with buffet lunch tour. Derek was our tour guide and assiduous at pointing out everything. We visited a small coffee plantation, an amazing Santa Barbara church, the Sao Jorge cheese factory, natural water hole for swimming “ Poça Simão Dias”, FAJÃS DO NORTE, one of the lighthouses no longer in use, and many more points of interest. Certainly was a wonderful experience to see this beautiful island of Sao Jorge some thing I will never forget!
