Descrição
O passeio começa em Ponta Delgada em direção às Sete Cidades. Inclui algumas paragens em diferentes miradouros e a oportunidade de visitar as zonas mais bonitas e desconhecidas da zona oeste e centro da nossa ilha. Após uma paragem no miradouro da Vista do Rei, desceremos a estrada que nos leva ao interior deste vale para visitar a freguesia das Sete Cidades. Depois de admirar a Igreja de São Nicolau, seguiremos caminho até Lagoa, pela Costa Sul da Ilha, para almoçar num restaurante local. De seguida, o passeio continua em direcção à Lagoa do Fogo, com paragem na Caldeira Velha com algum tempo para visita. Antes de regressar a Ponta Delgada, faremos uma pequena paragem para admirar a Lagoa do Fogo, do alto do Pico da Barrosa.

Todo mundo que curte essa atividade terá a chance de aprender sobre os nossos frutos tradicionais, os "Ananás". Ao percorrer as estufas, nosso guia fornecerá todas as informações de como essas frutas se tornaram de grande importância para nós.
Uma parada obrigatória, é na "Vista do Rei", na "Lagoa das Sete Cidades". Esta lagoa deslumbrante, azul e verde, certamente apaziguará seus olhos.

Um dos mirantes que você pode apreciar, está situado na "Lagoa do Fogo", uma de nossas principais lagoas. Ao parar por aí, você ficará encantado com uma incrível vista verde.

We had a great time on our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and relayed the history and geology of all the many places we went. His driving was incredible and I am so glad we took this tour rather than drive ourselves. We learned so much more and didn’t have the stress of finding parking at scenic lookouts or navigating the tight turns up the mountains.
I organised a few hikes with this company before my visit which I had to cancel but the team were extremely understanding and helpful and processed the refunds immediately. I then organised a day long van tour of Sete Cidades and Lago do Fogo. This was a jam packed day with a stop over for a tasty buffet lunch. Darcio is knowledgeable and emotionally invested in the islands and how to maintain them. He is also a very experienced guide so when he realised there were only 5 of us he improvised a little to better accommodate our interests. For example, we had all seen the pineapple plantation so it was removed while Ribeira Grande beach and Salto do Cabrito were slotted in. A great day topped off with some advice on restaurants off the tourist path as well as some of the hikes I should book when I return.
Both the guides Diogo and Clara were very knowledgeable and enhanced our experience. We had a very hectic day with lots to do and loved it! Diogo is very patient and Clara is an amazing guide who knows the history and culture of the island well. I had a fun day and recommend that you ask for either Clara or Diogo.
Eduardo took us on a remarkable tour. His energy and passion were contagious. We started with a tour of a pineapple plantation where we were able to not only see how the pineapples are grown but also learn about the history of pineapples on the island and taste pineapple liquors, juice and jam. The day took us to unbelievable and stunning sites on the West, north and middle of the island. We saw the sete cidades and descended to the lake- ( Lago do Fogo)such stunning views. All the while learning about the geography and history of the island. Then off to Ribeira to stop and sample local liqueurs. Also great lunch. Loved the tour. Very professional!!
Had a great day with the group and our guide Thiago. He was funny and friendly and was able to answer all our questions about the island. The tour itself was very intense, with a lot of stops and "hidden gems" and I really enjoyed going a bit out of the beaten track.
I highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Vasco P., was the best! He took us on a tour from the highest point all the way to the water. We saw everything form every vantage point. It was breathtaking! We had a wonderful lunch. It was like being with old friends! The Lagos do Fogo was amazing! A perfect day and trip!
