Great guide very nice and informative. Tour meeting spot not easy to find with no signage. Overall worth it despite high price
It was pouring rain while we were at the Colosseum and Giuseppe was very kind to lend us his umbrella while he got wet. Since this was a private tour and pretty expensive, the tour company should have notified us ahead of time about the weather so we could bring umbrellas/rain jackets. We had both at our hotel and another tour company we have tomorrow has notified us about the weather ahead of time. The weather and our lack of preparation shortened our stay in the Colosseum. Another more important problem we had with this tour is that Giuseppe doesn’t have a good command of English and spoke softly so my husband and I struggled to understand him. At times we didn’t know what he was pointing at, sometimes he walked ahead of us and talked while looking at the floor, so we missed a lot. We’ll have to redo this tour with a different company on our next visit and feel disappointed because the tour was expensive. Gave it 3 stars because Giuseppe lend us his umbrella but the rating should be lower. It was a waste of money.

This was, without question, the best tour I have ever taken. Enri, our guide, was absolutely amazing. His passion for Rome and its history was contagious. The colosseum and Palentine Hill are must-see venues.
Simona was wonderful! So knowledgeable and had pictures of what it used to look like compared to today. The Colosseum is obviously amazing and beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice. I would highly recommend a private tour as we also got to go to the highest level in the Colosseum which a great view of everything. Simona also knew a few tricks to getting around a little quicker and better spots for pictures, etc.
Simona was great! She has a great love of history and it comes through in her stories. The colosseum is an amazing structure with so much history you need a guide who brings the stories to life and shows you with photos how it used to look. We were able to tour areas you can only get to with a guide so that was a nice treat. She also took us to the Roman forum and Palentine hill. Great tour and we really appreciate the personalized attention of a private tour
Our tour was really really special. The underground of the Colosseum was so was amazing to see, and our guide Simona was so nice, and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed walking through all the historic galleries while Simona explained the details of each area. This was a 10/10 experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
Simona and Enzo were absolutely amazing. We had an underground tour by another company that was cancelled last minute, and Enzo went above and beyond to ensure we got a reserved spot for the underground. Simona gave us a VIP experience we will not forget! She was excellent; very passionate and knowledgeable. Thank you both for the incredible experience!
Very good experience and the guide was really engaging and knowledgeable. She explained the history with pictures and facts which made it very interesting. Will surely recommend taking her tour. Our tour was on 30th March.
