Eric was an excellent guide. Took a lot of time for discussion, taking questions. His passion for his city, his country was electrifying. Many thanks Eric!!!
Convenient, and very good tour. Our guide (Victor) was very knowledgeable. For the time allowed, the tour provided an excellent amount of effort/adventure in the park. After the tour, we were even given the option of an alternative drop off, closer to our accommodations.
I had an amazing day this last full day in Rio. This tour was great. Just being outside in nature give you sort of a reset from all the hustle of life. Eric our guide was great! He made sure the group was together and ask what we wanted to do and as a group, we all decided to do all the extra added hikes so we can experience the forest more. The cave was amazing to see as was a couple waterfalls we saw. Some of the group went in the falls to get refreshed before we headed to Vista Chinese where the view of the city was the best. From this vista, you can Christ the Redeemer as well as Sugarloaf Mountain from here. We didn’t see any wildlife until the very end where we saw couple toucans and several monkeys! This was a treat as we probably gave up in seeing anything, but we did! We had a great group and together with a great guide makes for an amazing experience. Thank you all for making this tour fun!

It’s great to hear that Eric kept the group together while also making space for everyone’s interests, allowing you to explore even more of the forest. The excursion through Tijuca Forest was well worth it! We spent the entire morning exploring different spots, and the guide was very attentive throughout the tour. He made several stops to point out plants and animals, while also sharing stories and interesting facts in great detail. He was also thoughtful enough to stop at various locations to take photos of everyone. It was a very pleasant and enriching experience. I enjoyed it so much that I plan to take the full-day tour to see even more. I highly recommend it!

Sharing these special moments and helping our guests connect with Tijuca is what makes these experiences so rewarding for us. We truly appreciate your recommendation!
Absolutely incredible experience. Pick up was flawless in a nice sprinter van. Our tour guide Lucas was extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest, it was amazing to learn about all the forest offers. We saw some wildlife and they were so helpful in trying to help us see monkeys, sloths and Toucans. The waterfalls are gorgeous (one really big one and one smaller one that you get time to take pics in or dive in at the end) Lucas also took our pic multiple times as viewpoints. We enjoyed the others in our group. After debating if we should do a tour vs go alone with uber. The tour was defiantly the right route because there is spotty cell service and a lot of different ways to enter. My husband and I loved this excursion.
Thank you so much! We’re thrilled to hear that Lucas made your experience so special, from sharing his knowledge of the rainforest to helping you spot wildlife and capturing those memorable moments along the way. We’re also glad the waterfalls and group experience added to the adventure. It means a lot to know you felt choosing a guided tour was the right decision! We hope to see you back in Rio!
I loved this hike! Our tour guide Eric was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area and even had tips on other lesser-known trails with great sights - and he can tell you about them in three languages! Would recommend this tour to anyone traveling solo or with a group especially if you are into nature, history, and local culture in Rio. Thanks Eric!
