Rafting Rio Pacuare, um dia de Turrialba

We had our best rafting trip out of the dozen we have done in recent years!! A great team and top-notch organization! More than 3 hours on the water with class 2 to 4 rapids in exceptional landscapes! I recommend it!!

Had a really great time! I showed up last minute and was able to join a group going the next day. The rapids have a good mix of classes and even two class 4 sections. The trip was a little over 3 hours including the stop for lunch/snack. If I were to go again I think I would book the overnight excursion as the jungle is so pretty and it would cut the trip to an hour and a half each day which seems more pleasant as at the end of the 3 hours I was pretty tired. Though the excellent dinner they served when we got back to the main base helped recover my strength

We were picked up at the Wagelia Hotel at short notice (we should have gone to Wagelia Dominica Hotel - don’t make the same mistake as us, we thought they were the same place!) and luckily the hotelier called Adrenalina for us and they came quickly without querying it, thank goodness. Very good of them. Adrenalina explained on phone that we couldn’t do the Pacuare river trip (level 3-4) as water too high but that we could do the Peyibaye river trip which was shorter, 10k and level 2-3. Alonsso was our guide on the bus and Arielle our guide in the boat. They were both very friendly and welcoming, English speaking and clear with instructions. The Peyibaye was actually better for us as altho we’ve done rafting in the past we’re still really beginners and it was quite challenging in parts in the rapids but brilliant fun (more so than usual as river high). 2 hours was a perfect amount of time, 4 (Pacuare river) would prob have been too much for us but great for those wanting more of a challenge. We stopped for fruit and waited at intervals along the river for others in our party to catch up with us, great banter between the guides. After the rafting we got taken to the main meeting place and had a delicious Costa Rican lunch, cassoda with chicken.

The guides are super friendly (I especially recommend Peluche!). And the descent is super fun. There were rapids all along the route.

Incredible! The guides are super nice and funny, which is really pleasant! Peluche was the best guide! The trip down the Pacuare River is simply great and athletic! I recommend it 100%!

We did the Pacuare rafting trip in 1 day, it was truly incredible. Well organized, the staff is super cool, the meal at the end is great. We even stopped to go walking, swimming, and jumping into a tributary of the river!

It was an incredible experience. Both the guides and the general organization of the activity were extremely professional and ensured the safety and enjoyment of the participants at all times. Each rapid was taken assertively, ensuring that the experience was pleasant and exciting. A check was also carried out before the activity to verify how "prepared" each raft was, and based on this, the guides adjusted the route to make it more exciting or calm. It must also be remembered that this is a risky activity, so in some areas of the route there was a risk of falling off the raft and getting wet regardless of how each rapid was taken. Overall an incredible experience, 100% recommended and a total thank you to both the organization and the guide staff.

Personally, the experience was excellent, the guide was very good, and he shared part of his knowledge during the tour; the instructions were clear, the food was excellent, and the transportation service was also great. We will definitely return. Thank you.

One of the best experiences, I was very scared and the guide Ariel made me enjoy it a lot and it completely went away. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return soon. Among all the guides, you truly feel cared for; I recommend it. Very responsible people who are dedicated to their work.

An incredible experience! The rafting tour was filled with adrenaline and a lot of fun from start to finish. The organization was very good, and the tour was totally worth it. A special recognition for our guide Ariel, who was very kind. He always maintained a fun atmosphere, made us feel safe, and added that touch of excitement that made the experience even more extreme. Additionally, he interacted a lot with the group, which made everyone enjoy even more. Without a doubt, I recommend it 100% for those seeking an exciting adventure. I would definitely return!
