Great experience, Our driver was very friendly and gave us good advice and tips for our stay in Maderia . The walk was very challenging so wouldn't recommend for people who struggle with a lot of steps and steep gradients or young children.
Due to a last-minute plan change, we booked this tour just one day in advance and we were lucky to find Louis at a great price. He was super nice with a great sense of humour, and it never felt like he was just driving us to the destination. Even though it was a self-guided tour, he explained the trail clearly and gave excellent advice. On the way back, he recommended great restaurants, beautiful sunset spots, and even took us to a stunning mirador without us having to ask that's truly going the extra mile. He happily shared lots of interesting information about Madeira the whole time. We had a wonderful hike, the best recommendations, and memories that will stay with us forever. I will definitely contact Louis again if I return to Madeira someday.

Great transfer with Luis. Very punctual. Checked in part way through the day to ensure that we were doing well. Very friendly. Safe driver.
Luis was a great guide. He made sure we understood the route well before setting off. He provided us with so much information about Madeira and later sent us food and entertainment suggestions. My walking buddy (who I met that day) and I finished early so he took us to a local place to get out of the rain and get a warm drink while we waited for the others. It was a tough trail (for me), but I thoroughly enjoyed the day with Luis.
Fantastic day out with Luis- his enthusiasm and willingness to to go out of his way - even dropped two of us walkers who arrived early back ti the car park to the local mountain bar while he waited on the remaining hikers - best tour I’ve had in a long time

We had a wonderful hiking trip! Luis was an excellent guide - planning/scheduling the trip was easy, he was very quick with responses and punctual, while being flexible at the same time.
