Excursão privada pela floresta tropical: sloths, pontes penduradas e café

It was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE with Manuel!!! He shared the culture and more than our tour like eating empanadas at his favorite restaurant..delicious btw 😋, photos in town, getting coconut 🥥 water from a bike vendor, traditional Costa Rican lunch 🥙….everything was top notch!!!! It was the extra little things that made it more special 💗! Just when thought the bar was raised at its highest point it was tipped over because we did karaoke 🎤 on the way back to the resort with the mic 🎤, lights and 🪩 disco ball!! He is definitely my guy when I come back here and you’ll say the same thing too!!!

This tour was great! We had Pablo as our guide and made the trip even better! Unfortunately I was not feeling great on the actual day of the tour and felt really bad, but Pablo stopped at a pharmacy and helped translate with the pharmacist what would be best to make me feel better- so that was incredibly sweet and helpful (also made having the one on one tour so much better since no one else had to wait on me). Our first stop was the waterfall which was gorgeous and refreshing- a little crowded but that is to be expected, the next stop was the coffee and cacao tour which was super fun to learn all about the beans and how the Costa Rican coffee and chocolate is produced. Next up was the hanging bridges which was way cooler than I expected- a lot of fun noises and sights to see there in the rainforest! We then had a typical Costa Rican lunch which was delicious before heading to see the sloths! Not guaranteed to see them, but we ended up seeing 4 in their natural habitat which was really amazing- didn’t expect them to be so high up in the trees but after learning more about them, it makes so much more sense- they’re truly unique and amazing creatures! We even saw a toucan and the green tree frogs sleeping on leaves! Definitely recommend the one on one tours when visiting Costa Rica- you won’t regret it!!

We spent a week in Costa Rica and this was one of the highlights of our trip! Gabriel was an amazing guide and was so patient with our family with 3 kids in tow. He picked us up at our hotel and planned the entire day. We started at an amazing waterfall and then headed to a coffee/chocolate tour that was outstanding. It was followed by a guided tour through the rainforest to see sloths, birds, reptiles, and amazing plants. We had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant with a butterfly garden attached! We wrapped up with a tour through another rainforest with hanging bridges and the views were just breathtaking. It was so well planned and we felt like we got to experience the highlights of Costa Rica. Highly recommend this tour- it's not to be missed!

This whole experience was awesome! Although the description says 6 to 7 hours our guide, Pablo made absolutely sure that we experienced every single thing to the fullest- saw every plant and animal that we could! would not give up on the day until we saw sloths and was with us for a 12 hour day! So knowledgeable about all the plants! The coffee, cocoa, rainforest walks, lunch!!! It was all EXCELLENT. Pablo was the best guide!!!

Our experience was solid five star! Our guide, Pablo was knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. Each stop we made was flawless regarding arrival and experience. Pablo led us to see so many incredible sights and wildlife, making our day a perfect one! Must also mention he chose a delicious lunch spot! Highly recommend!

this was our only excursion booked in Costa Rica as we traveled with a 1yo-old and 3yo and didn’t know how the kids were going to handle the long day. Manuel was our guide and was the most patient man I ever met. We accomplished so much and visited so many locations in one day. He was able to strategically stop in multiple locations while enjoying excursions and taking a break. While the toddlers became restless he provided delicious fruit and special costa rican treats which helped tremendously. More importantly he was able to capture amazing memories of the family with both my phone and his and he must have a photography background as videos were amazing. His love for nature showed as he provided exceptional information on creatures and trees of rain forest. So glad we booked this guide, highlight of our trip.

Wow- Pablo was great!! We got transportation, got to swim in the waterfall, have a nice coffee/chocolate tour, delicious lunch, a little hike, plus the sloth/forest tour was great!! We had a full full day since we stayed in Liberia, there’s lots of transportation time but Pablo was excellent driver and conversationalist. We had a great time and saw many animals! Thanks for everything!

This was our favorite day of our Costa Rica trip! Francisco our guide was fantastic! He was so kind, and patient with all of our questions. Loved swimming in the water fall. A first for our family. We saw monkeys and a wild turkey on the suspended bridge walk. Authentic lunch was delicious. Christopher at the coffee/chocolate plantation was really knowledgeable and fun. Eduardo took us for a walk around the rainforest and showed us some sloths, a tree frog, and a viper! Everyone was so kind! I highly recommend doing a private tour if you can because we did everything at our pace and didn't have to worry about other people. Because of traffic, our 8 hour day turned into 12 but well worth it!
