This was so excellent!!!! I couldn't recommend this more. Everything was delicious & amazing. If you are in CR, I couldn't recommend.
This is my second tour with foodie tours, AND I WOULD DEFINITELY REBOOK AGAIN. Each tour offers a a variety of cuisines, and food was delicious. Coffee workshop EXCELLENT. Your guises knowledgeable. Totally disorganized. We showed up at the restaurant without any recognition that we had a reservation. They did not know who we were. We had to go back and forth between the hotel and the restaurant and call the foodie representative and then we had to deal with the restaurant saying they couldn't take us because of my diet restrictions which had been identified 3 months before. This was not a good experience although the food was excellent

Your reservation and dietary restrictions had been fully shared in advance with the restaurant owner, but unforeseen staff changes that evening resulted in the team on site not being informed when you arrived. While this was outside our direct control, we acted right away to resolve the situation and ensure that your experience moved forward exactly as planned. We are happy that despite the initial confusion, the cuisine and the evening were enjoyable. Thank you once again for your understanding. We hope to welcome you back on another visit to Costa Rica.
We had a truly lovely evening with our guide Oscar on the Premium Tour. Each destination was unique with food/beverage offerings being exceptional. If you are a foodie and want enjoy something unique and different while in San Jose this is for you! Company was very responsive to my inquiries and booking was easy and seamless.

Very unique tour, enjoyed learning about local customs and authentic native cuisine. Guide very nice and knowledgeable.
We have taken many international food tours, and this was one of the best. Adriana was informative and utterly charming. The three restaurants we visited featured modern interpretations of farm-to-table indigenous cuisine that was incredibly fresh, healthy, and delicious. And it was a lot of fun to mingle with the restauranteurs and other tour guests. Highly recommended.
