We had an absolutely wonderful time! The tour was so unique and fun. The group was very small and friendly and our tour guide, Paola was out of this world. She did a fabulous time of making sure all the Spanish and English speakers felt included, made everyone feel welcome, and gave us such great info wherever we went. We felt very looked after and cared for. Can't recommend Paola or this tour enough
This was a disappointing tour given all the positive reviews. First, the trajinera cruise in Xochimilco was too long and included an unnecessary and extended stop at a greenhouse. Given that we are all tourists and can’t bring any plants home it’s unclear what the point of the stop was. I would rather have had more time to explore in Coyoacan. In addition, there was a lady who joined our boat and toward the end of the cruise brought out a box of her jewelry to sell to our group. I did not pay for a tour to deal with vendors. We arrived in Coyoacan after 2pm by which point our entire group was hungry. Instead of going straight to lunch we walked around somewhat aimlessly with our guide pointing out a few buildings, including those associated with Frida Kahlo. It was fine but we just wanted to eat. We had lunch at the market - it was not the best. We ended the tour by visiting Frida Kahlo’s house/museum. Instead of a personalized tour we were given an audio guide and sent off for an hour to listen on our individual headphones. We could have done that without the tour. As a solo female traveler, the only benefit to the tour was having transportation arranged and also meeting some cool fellow tourists. Otherwise I don’t think it was worth it.
Perfect day trip: Xochimilco, Coyoacán + Frida Kahlo Museum. Small group = no crowds. Samantha was great and made it unforgettable.
WOW! Samantha was one of the best tour guides we have ever experienced. So energetic, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment we entered the van, we knew we were in for an exciting and enriching day.
This was our first tour in Mexico and our tour guide Samantha was the BEST of the BEST. She made our experience truly one of a kind and we had so much fun! She had so much knowledge and so much fun energy! We will book again with Samantha!
Had an amazing day with Samantha. She was caring to everyone in the trip. She was very knowledgeable about the museum and trip. I have learned a lot with her. Great day with her and the group in cdmx.
The places we visited (Coyoacán, the blue house, and Xochimilco) are incredible. Samantha was our guide. She is very kind and intelligent. She answered all our questions and always had a smile on her face. I recommend to everyone that if it is their first time in CDMX, they take the tour; they will learn a lot about history and culture, 100% recommended.
Pros: The visit to Frida Kahlo's blue house was wonderful and the visit to Xochimilco was SO much fun. At Xochimilco, we danced on the little boats (called Trajineras), had a drink, and listened to mariachi music (of course, for a fee). The tour guide, Armi, was a young, positive tour guide. She knew everything about Frida, even though the Frida tour does not include a tour guide like Armi. It was a self-guide tour, which we did not know until we arrived. She was able to answer all our questions about Frida's history. Cons: Unfortunately, they were almost an hour late in picking us up and the took away from our ability to shop in the market (el mercado). That was very disappointing. Their reason for the delay was a march/protest with closed streets, however, that could have been planned better by the tour guide and driver.
Paola was nice and informative tour guide and the driver Jesus got us there safely amongst the chaos of traffic. I do recommend this for anyone visiting CDMX
Great value, our guide Alan was very knowledgeable and engaging. His personable and charming demeanor made the tour fun and memorable.
