What fun experience. We learned what temperature to melt the chocolate, the steps of how to set in the molds and taping the molds to reduce all bubble formations. While our chocolate molds were in the freezer we made chocolate Grenache to fill our molds with several options of fruits and nuts, delicious! Once they were finished and setting we made homemade hot chocolate to celebrate with our amazing instructor who was helpful and kind which made the experience so much fun 🤩 and memorable! The view of the city of Cusco from our class was spectacular- if you have time it is worth the trip up the mountain 🦙❤️
A wonderful experience making very high quality chocolate with a stunning view of cuzco. The workshop was fun and messy and it was great to have this experience on our last day in the city. I would highly recommend this to anyone and we left with so much chocolate it took us a week to get through it all.
A great evening for all the family. Information about chocolate, praline making and hot chocolate
Really fun time for me and my 15-year-old son. The workshop takes place at the Limbus Resto Bar in San Blas, a lovely place with amazing views. (Quite a climb from the taxi square so allow time if you are of a certain age...) Lucero and Paulo were fantastic. They explained everything and helped us at every stage. Only 6 participants, so everybody got great attention and care. Highly recommended!
The workshop was really fun for us! Daniel explained everything wonderfully and was generally very nice and funny. The chocolates and hot chocolate also tasted great, and the view is fantastic, so definitely recommended!
The chocolate experience was really fun. The hosts were great, we learned some things and had some amazing chocolates to take home with us. Highly recommend.
A bit chaotic, but very fun. It would’ve been nice if water was provided throughout the experience and there was a lot of standing but very cool to learn how to make truffles and the hot chocolate was delicious.
It was very poorly organized and the guide was not very knowledgeable. A lot of what was promised was not present, felt like a waste of money. We did not learn about Peruvian chocolate or any of the history either. It was very chaotic environment and we were in a small space. I am sad because me and my party were very excited about this and felt very let down.
This experience was highly rated. So we booked it. Others in our group seemed to enjoy it. We however did not. It simply seems like the first time they have ever done it. Not well organized at all. The instructor even commented it was a big group like he was surprised. However, they set the size of the group and its stated in the description. Some of the equipment did not work. Because of this the way we proceeded did not seem sanitary, having to share everything with other groups, hands in. Other experiences on Viator showed roasting the beans and actually making the chocolate this was just melting it and putting it into molds. Just overall not for me.
This was such a fun evening! David was really kind and funny, and explained everything to us very well. The chocolate is really high quality and delicious, and the setting overlooking Cusco is beautiful. Would really recommend!
