This was an amazing tour and a really unique opportunity to experience local culture and food. Our tour guide Sayoeun as well as Sam were so welcoming and enthusiastic to have us and show us around. The bike route takes you along some really beautiful rice field scenery. The sunset timing is perfect not only for views but also heat! It’s much cooler. Highly recommend going on this tour and supporting some great people.

Super good experience, the guide explains everything to you, takes you to places you have to visit if you come to Cambodia, nothing touristy. Very good people, both the guide and the tour hosts. I recommend it 100%

One of the most enjoyable afternoons I’ve had The weather was great. Just a small group so a leisurely pace . No pressure on anything and scenic Sophy was great always smiling and chatty. Great knowledge Would recommend to my friends if coming here to go for a nice casual after saying hi to all the locals on the way. Finished with a beer and great snacks 10/10

Sayouen picked us up from our hotel as planned in a tuk tuk and took us to a temple on the way to pick up the bikes. Sayouen was very knowledgeable about the lifestyle of the monks and the religion, we later found out he is a former monk which enhanced the experienced. We then went on to meet Sam and collect our bikes. Sam was very conscientious to make sure the bikes and helmets were adjusted to fit us properly. The bikes are traditional style, sit up, push bikes, they are not e-bikes, but this was really nice as it added to the authenticity of the trip and don’t be concerned, the area is very flat with no hills and Sayouen goes at a pace to suit you. Sayouen stopped at various places showing and telling us how Cambodian people live and letting us experience some really nice street food. Sayouen always had time to answer our questions, nothing felt rushed, in fact the opposite, when we returned to drop off the bikes, we was greeted by Sam again together with some of his and Sayouen’s family and we sat with them for about an hour eating, drinking and talking together. Overall this trip was perfect for us, we wanted to learn how Cambodian people live daily and this is exactly what we got from a very warm and welcoming family.

We booked this trip in the hope we would see some authentic village life and it delivered 100%. First stop was the monastery then onto pick up our push bikes and this is where the tour really began for us. Cycling through villages and stopping at small kiosks/shops to try local produce. A visit to a lotus farm, stopping for street food if we were brave enough to try (I wasn’t) children shouting hello and waving as we cycled past Sayoeun our guide was genuine and knowledgeable and Sam at Countryside Tours was the perfect host for our well earned beer and picnic afterwards. We could have sat there talking all night but unfortunately were leaving Cambodia the next day If you want authenticity from genuinely lovely people then this is the trip for you. Definitely recommend

I had a lovely afternoon riding around the countryside with Sin. The tour was informative and interesting and the post-ride food was delicious. Lovely staff as well! Would recommend!

This bike tour is one of the best experiences that I have had in Siem Reap, I loved every minute of it! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the local culture and the information that out tour guide Sin was sharing was the highlight of the experience. Was provided with a lovely snack and drinks at Sam’s very own bike garden was amazing. A must do experience for travellers wanting to know more about countryside Siem Reap and the local culture!

I had the most wonderful time with Ven, my guide. I would recommend this to anyone who is after an authentic experience in Siem Reap. The riding was easy and we stopped along the way to taste some really delicious street food and see some local spots. Ven was incredibly knowledgeable and taught me a lot about the local life. We chatted the entire way and had great fun.

I had the best time doing the today with Ven! We visited a monastery where he explained the history and symbolism of buddhism in Cambodia! We then cycled through gorgeous rice and lotus fields where tried some fruit straight from the tree! We cycled past loads of street food stalls where you can try whatever you like and he explained about the local female lead business turning old waste bags into new purses and wallets which was so cool! As we continued cycling, the sunset was so stunning especially standing in the green rice fields! Ven also showed me how silk is made from lotus stalks. I genuinely cannot recommend enough! It’s a super authentic tour where you can interact with and actually support the local community and I learned so much as well! When you get back from the tour you also get free Cambodian food! Definitely worth spending an afternoon doing when you’re in Siem Reap especially over one of the really touristy tours :))

One of our favourite things we have done in 4 months of travelling. The sunset bike tour was amazing, we had the most lovely time meeting all the locals and children in Siam Reap, stopping to try traditional Cambodian street food, seeing the lotus farm and ending the tour with a beautiful sunset. After the tour we sat and chatted with the guides learning more about eachother and they provided beers, soft drinks and some snacks! We couldn’t recommend booking this enough
