Mr. Sam is such an amazing guide. He is very passionate. He loves what he does. He is very very knowledgeable and wants everyone to learn
Amazing experience. Really knowledgeable guide who was proud to share history with us. Can’t wait to come back and bring others. We’ll request San again.
Amazing experience visiting Angkor Wat. Our guide Sath was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and was so lovely to spend time with. He took lots of amazing photos of us, took us to a local cafe and found a great spot for sunrise. Our drove, Mr Sim was also lovely and was always there to pick us up with cold towels and more bottles of water Angkor Wat is an absolute must do when in Siem Reap and I would highly recommend Sath and Mr Sim as your guides
Exactly the personal tour we wanted. Both our guide and tuk tuk driver spoke English. Twas a bit cloudy but still a beautiful serene sunrise. Lots of walking. Sopea, thank you for a good tour.
Nak has great English speaking ability tied to the history of Angkor Wat and surrounding areas. Very accomadating in taking care of any requests that may arise. Totally professional in everyway.
I cannot recommend this tour enough! My family booked this trip for our one day in Angkor WT. Our guide, Sath, and driver, Mr. Phallit, were incredible. Sath was incredibly warm and knowledgeable, stopping to teach us things we never would have noticed on our own about not only the temples and their decorations, but also Buddhism, Cambodian culture, food, music, and even wildlife we saw on our journey (including a red squirrel and monkeys)! Sath stopped to take amazing pictures of our family all day and always kept us stocked on water. The tour was well laid out, and we hit all the best spots in just a short time. Sath and Mr. Phallit also joined us for a lovely lunch (highly recommend the beef lok lak, amok fish, and drinking fresh coconut). I recommend wearing the lightest clothes you possibly can, making sure to cover your knees and shoulders, and bringing a hat (but you will have to take it off at the top).
We had an amazing experience on this tour, thanks to our excellent tour guide Vy Ven. He is knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and willing to answer our questions. I highly recommend this tour and our guide Vy Ven to anyone visiting the area.
My husband, daughter, son in law , four year old granddaughter and I booked the private tour of Angkor Wat in order to see the sunrise and surrounding temples. We were scheduled to be picked up at 4:30 am by our guide Mr. Sath and our driver, Mr. Phallit. Both of them arrived early. The van was roomy and extremely clean. We had not purchased our admission tickets so we had to stop at the entrance to Angkor Wat which opened at 5:00 am. Mr. Phallit then dropped us off where Mr. Sath directed him. We sat across the water from the main entrance to await the sunrise. At this point I want to mention that Mr. Sath was excellent. He was easy to understand. We learned so much about the history, rulers, the transition from a Hindu to a Buddhist temple and the stories depicted on the stone reliefs. We complimented Mr. Sath on his wealth of knowledge. He told us he had to take a six month course, take a test on facts about the temples and demonstrate his people skills by giving a tour through the complex . He then had to shadow an experienced guide to learn not only what information to include on the tour and THE BEST PHOTO OPS! He always volunteered to take great photos of our family at each site. He also taught us a trick when taking photos of the temples. I had a hip replacement six weeks before our tour. Mr. Phallit always helped me in and out of the van. Providing cooling towels after each stop which we welcomed as the temperature was 95 to 100 degrees and humid plus bottles of water. He was also a very safe driver. The Angkor Archeology Park covers 400 square kilometer. We also toured Angkor Thom/Bayon, and Ta Prohm ( where the film Laura Croft Tomb Raider was filmed). A late breakfast was included in the tour and we enjoyed ordering Cambodian dishes. When we complimented Mr. Sath on his knowledge, he told us he had to take a six month course which included a written and oral exam plus giving a practice your tour to learn the major sites to stop at and details at each one. We were glad we took the private tour with Mr. Sath and Mr. Phallit. My granddaughter still asks to see photos of Mr. Sath. They were excellent and would recommend them to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.
Nak picked us up at 4:30 am and we went to the Angkor Wat sunrise. The sunrise was a little clouded, but we had a great spot and were on time. If the sunrise would’ve been beautiful we’d have the best ‘seats’. One of us fell ill and Nak arranged that we were picked up on the grounds. I continued solo with Nak and we visited the Angkor Wat-, Ta Prhom-, Baphoun- and Bayon temples. He has a wide knowledge on building methods and material, cultural and religious background and ofcourse the history of the temples. Because he was a Buddhist monk himself he gave great inside knowledge and was able to explain in depth on the religious origin stories without getting dreary. Together with the driver he kept us cool with ice cold water and cold towels. I had a great experience and would book again
We had a great tour with our guide Sath and our driver Phallit. It was a family trip and everywthing went very smooth. From early morning meet-up until drop. Sath was very knowledable in all sites and the car was comfortable with cold water and wet towels. The itinerary was well planned, accurate and according to our requests. I would recommend.
