Nightmare , could of been great felt ripped off

Could of been great , But there was a power outage on the peles castle so qued for 3 hours in the freezing cold and didn’t even get in . Set off to bran castle and were given 40 minutes to explore the bran castle (which is over priced and not a lot to see inside ) and explore the town which wasn’t enough time . Then traveled to bravos which was great but just didn’t get given enough time to explore and enjoy. Spent full day on the bus or queing with very few toilets around and didn’t eat till very late as there wasn’t a opportunity to get anything , if you aren’t a great walker I wouldn’t recommend this tour as a lot of time spent walking up and down hills that are slippy and the guide rushes off Also the tour is 29 pound but doesn’t include access to the castles , which for both is £60 but when they finally refunded up for the castle we didn’t get inside for they’d only give us 25 and not 30 !

Two Castles in One Day = Too Much Time on Minibus

We went on a day-long outing from Bucharest to see the Peles and Bran Castles. The mini-bus picked us up at 8 am and did not drop us off till 10:45 pm. We did see the castles and the town of Brasov. There was so much road construction that we were in that minibus for about 8 hours throughout the trip. It was too much. Because the tour company was determined to fit in all three stops despite the road construction (which has been going on for quite a while), we did not have much time in any of the three places. It was recommended that we eat lunch at the town of Brasov, but we were warned that a sit down restaurant would take too long. We grabbed pizza, but then we had no place to sit and eat it. We ended up going into an ice cream shop and ordering gelato just so we sit inside out of the blazing midday sun. We were given a 20-minute tour of the town and then boarded the minibus again to travel to Bran Castle. We toured the castle and then the bus ride back to Bucharest took 4 (four) hours. We made one rest stop at a gas station that had one individual restroom. We traveled over mountains and the minibus made hairpin turns, passed, tractors, horses, and trucks overloaded with hay that were in front of us on narrow two lane roads. It felt like the driver of the minibus was going faster than the posted speed limit, possibly to make up time but it felt unsafe. I will say that the tour guide was polite and knowledgeable and we were glad to see the castles. I recommend they skip Braşov while this road construction is going on. It was an exhausting day.

Nice trip to Bran, Peles and Pelisors castles with Vlad as a guide!

A very wonderful trip with Vlad as a guide. He was present with discussions, lot of historical informations, lot of tips and he is very pleasant as a guy. I warmly recommand going on a trip with him, since we have learned lot of things.

Short but efficient

The experience gives a chance to see more than Bucharest in a single day. The town of Brasov is particularly beautiful.

Nice experience!

The tour well organized, the guide Maria a force 😁, professional and competent, explained very well. We saw a lot of places, I'm glad I did this tour. Much more beautiful and rich in history is the castle of Peles. I recommend bringing a packed lunch, as the time for breaks is very short.

The tour guide doesn't...

The tour guide doesn't really gives you his attention. You have to either know how to navigate or have someone who knows the city. During Christmas they don't give enough time to visit the castles and the city and everything happens in a rush. So if you wanna see everything you don't have time for food or shopping. During spring the trip is better because the program is more well organised.

This tour needs improvements

The guide was direct and at times came across as rude. Whilst some elements were outside of the control of the guide it took over 90 minutes to get into Peles Castle, it was VERY disorganised and it was a free for all regardless of where your group was, we were criticised by the guide for being too far away from the entrance when everyone else had been pushing in. Our friends had to tell him that we could not get in and to not start the tour as he would never take a head count! There were improvements at the castle which we were not told of in advance of getting on the bus. Toilets are non-existant and there are non on the bus, where there was a toilet the queue were large and the guide would get frustrated if you were late back to the meeting point, it was a no win situation all day!!! Draculas Castle was very touristy and busy. The 20 minute walk about Brasov medieval town didn't do it justice and there was no time to rest, explore or sit down to absorb the atmosphere of this beautiful town. The coach driver was dangerous, overtaking on corners and at speed. Whilst the coach did have seat belts the passengers had to comment to the guide about the drivers driving and how unsafe we all felt. This tour needs some improvements. Whilst the sights are impressive we had very little time to enjoy them due to the distance you have to travel.
