Este passeio é único porque você caminha (nível moderado com algumas inclinações de 10 minutos que podem parecer difíceis para alguns) na floresta de crescimento antigo ao longo do rio Snoqualmie por algumas horas para ver uma bela cascata de quedas, Twin Falls. A trilha é de 3 milhas no total. Em seguida, seguido por ver outra bela queda que dirigimos para - a famosa Snoqualmie Falls de 270 pés de altura. Our tour guide John was wonderful Identified various trees and gave a history lesson on use of the moss grown on trees and areas used in the show Twin Peaks. Beautiful tour and very happy to see an area I wouldn't go to on my own. The downside was scheduling. Asked for 12:00 pm tour. Confirmed for 8:00 am. Cancelled by company and changed to 1:00 pm. Good! Most members of our group arrived before start time. Three did not. John tried several times to contact scheduler to inquire about missing three with no luck. Waited until 1:22 and departed. All on tour were on vacation and schedule activities to see and do all we can in allotted time. Very rude to be late and potentially cause delays for those on time and penalize tour guide.
This was one of my favorite hikes I've ever been on. Would definitely recommend especially if you're visiting in May.
The hike was moderate but rushed, I felt like I was in a race, not many stopping options to take photos along the way. I would have liked a slower pace to enjoy the scenery.
Usually there is time for taking photos etc. - we spend a couple of hours hiking and it includes taking photos too. Sorry it felt rushed - maybe you could have communicated that with the guide whom may not have been aware of that.
Extremely disappointed. I've been with Viator since 2015 and first time we've experienced this kind of rudeness by a tour guide. We started and left in between, went back to the parking area and waited till they all come back.
It is a tour that is officially categorized as easy to moderate but for some people it may be difficult. Therefore there is a viewpoint of the falls where you can turn around if you cannot go further up close to the falls. The guide is not rude but explains that if you cannot keep up with the group - then you can go back your own pace from the first viewpoint. Sorry if that was not clear to you.
Wonderful hike with Anthony to Twin Falls. We had different level hikers & he made sure all were doing okay throughout. Highly recommend.
This was a great guided hike. It was a small group that went, and the guide was very knowledgeable about the nature and area. Another company had canceled on us last minute, but this company was great!
Wear hiking close or tennis shoes or boots with grip… bring bottle water it’s a little tuff hike in places.
I was disappointed with this tour overall. Our guide was Anthony. He really needs a microphone or headset because passengers in the back of the bus could barely hear anything he said. The bus is also very tight. There was also very little engagement with the group during the drive to and from the hike. Aside from a few comments at the beginning, both rides were mostly silent, even though the group included people of different ages. The description of the hike is not accurate. It states that there are “a few inclines for about five minutes at a time,” but the hike consists primarily of steep inclines and declines, with very few flat areas. This description significantly downplays the intensity and difficulty of the hike. It is not suitable for novice hikers. The trail is also very narrow in places, requiring hikers to stop and wait for people traveling in the opposite direction to pass. At the beginning of the hike, Anthony instructed everyone to keep up with the group. When my son and I fell behind, I explained that I have asthma and that was why I was hiking at a slower pace. The intensity of this hike did not cause an asthma attack. However, the inclines did cause my heart rate to go up to 167 so I had to slow down to lower it hence why I was not able to keep up with the group. Despite knowing that, he continued to tell me to keep up with the group. But at other times he said we could go at our pace as we have to go down the same way we came up. It was confusing as these as contradicting statements. The hike was rushed from start to finish, leaving little opportunity to hike at a comfortable pace or fully enjoy the scenery. Had I known the hike would be this strenuous and conducted at this pace, I would not have booked this tour. Overall, this was not a good experience for me. I believe the tour description should more accurately reflect the difficulty of the hike so participants can make an informed decision before booking.
I apologize that the tour was not as you expected. The tour is categorized as easy to moderate level, but it is different for everyone - it also depends on your health beforehand. The 40 minute drive to the trail is described beforehand so that the guide can focus on driving while driving. There is plenty of information before the drive and at all the stops and on the trail.
This tour was top notch from beginning to end! Our guild was personable and knowledgeable providing a wealth of information about the area we were hiking and the towns surrounding it. He made sure we had places to stop for restroom breaks (saving us from having to use the hole in the ground port-o-let at the trail) and kept us abreast of "what's next" throughout the day. If you're looking for a nice hike with breathtaking views, this one is for you! 10/10 recommend!
My sister and i booked this tour & got our tickets sent and confirmed. On our way there, LITERALLY 20min before our meet up time, i receive a call that it was overbooked and we were actually not able to join the group. We were VERY disappointed, since it was our last day & we were really looking forward to hiking. Very unfortunate, not professional, and inconsiderate of people’s time. So i cant give much else on the experience itself because i didn’t go.
Yes, my apologies about the cancelation. There was only one spot left and not two spots left. We received your reservation shortly before the starting time and were therefore only able to cancel shortly before the tour. Fortunately, that is very rarely the case.
