Excellent organization, knowledgeable guides, catanaran was very fast, stable and flexible. Above all: plenty of wildlife: 4 whales (2 humpback mothers with baby's, a pot if peale's dolphins very close, plenty of sea lions, albatross. Whales jumped out of the water and were very playful and pretty close. About the 2.5 hours kayaking: amazing, awesome, not cold (because of some hard peddling sometimes to reach the whales, however the sea was calm. I really, really loved it!!
Wonderful experience! Very exciting. I went with my partner and two friends. We were a group of approximately 10 people, including the guides. We were able to see about 4 adult whales and 2 calves, very playful sea wolves, penguins, albatrosses, a little peuquito, among others. We very much appreciate the willingness, kindness, desire to teach and respect for the fauna of Carlos and Ignacio, the kayak guides. The crew on board 10/10. Thank you so much! It's worth every peso.
We had Carlos and Ignacio as guides, who made us live an unforgettable day. We learned a lot and were always respectful and responsible with the whales, we managed to be with more than 5. In addition we could see a peuquito, penguins, albatrosses and petrels. This tour exceeded all expectations.
Just one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Being able to swim and paddle kayak alongside humpback whales, in the middle of such an imposing landscape, is something that exceeds any expectation. Being so close to these giants of the ocean, in silence and with total respect for their environment, generates a difficult emotion to explain and a very deep connection with nature. I want to highlight especially the tremendous human team behind this expedition: Carlos, Ignacio and Marcos, who with great professionalism, knowledge and passion make everything feel safe, respectful and truly special. Also to the entire crew of the boat, always attentive and committed to making every detail of the experience unforgettable. It’s not just an excursion, it’s a unique experience that marks you forever. If you love the sea, nature and authentic experiences, this is a must. Thank you Thank you Thank you, with love Javiera R. Excellent activity not to be missed if you walk in pta sands and want to know the kawesqar national park and Franciscan marine park coloane. I took the kayak and it was the best decision worth every peso! The Dry Carlos instructor!!!
We had a great day with Ignacio and Carlos on the water! Super special experience to be so close to the whales, and our guides went out of their way to make sure we had the best time.
Ignacio and Carlos were fantastic guides. We got very close to 4 whales at once. It was a surreal experience. Highly recommend!
We had a really good experience on the trip itself, with mega cute, supportive and professional guides. Unfortunately, we had a really bad experience at the office, where they tried to fool us regarding payment. We had purchased the Whale Watch tour in the office days before, and chose to purchase the kayak tour on the boat on the day. We were promised an amount of the guide on the boat, which the guide had also written to the office. This price she refused to give us in the office. Considering that we had already booked/been on 2 trips through them, and put over 954 USD. The worst was her behavior. She was very uncomfortable, unfouled and flabet. We just wanted to have an ordinary conversation. We will definitely not recommend Solo Expediciones from the administrative point of view, which is really unfortunate when the guides only do their best.
The experience of seeing Whales is incredible. You go out in the boat with everyone regardless of whether they are doing the kayak bit. Unfortunately, as we were gearing up to get out on the kayaks they told us they are cancelling this element because the Whales aren't there. A lot of us still wanted to go on the kayaks regardless but they just said no which was disappointing. They refunded us the difference in the kayak tour, which was a really bad experience for us too. The people we were speaking to in the office were not helpful and I had to chase them for answers so many times.
It was a great experience! Totally recommend! The equipment and vessels are top notch. The crew was very nice and helpful. We had an unforgettable time kayaking with Igancio, Daniela, Constanza y Carlos! They knew a lot about the local fauna and were attentive to our every needs. We felt very secure with them all the time. It was an adventure we will never forget, watching the whales, kayaking alongside them in the sun and in the rain.
