This was a fun tour along the beautiful caves and sandstone structures on the coast of Portimao. The only reason I didn’t give it a five was because it was so hard to figure out who the tour leader was. The meeting site has many boat operators sharing a space and there were no distinguishing features that we were encouraged to look for. It was frustrating at first but ended ok.

The entire experience was smooth and well organized from start to finish. The meeting point was easy to find, and the crew was welcoming, professional, and attentive throughout. The boat itself was the perfect size—small enough to get close to the caves and navigate inside them, which made a huge difference compared to larger boats. What truly stood out were the guides. They were not only friendly and engaging but also shared interesting insights about the coastline, rock formations, and local history. Their energy and sense of humor made the trip even more enjoyable. The views along the Algarve coast were simply breathtaking—golden cliffs, hidden beaches, and stunning cave formations at every turn. Seeing the famous Benagil Cave from the water was unforgettable. The tour felt very personal and relaxed, with plenty of time to take in the scenery and enjoy the ride.

Great tour, beautiful coast, the crew, Alex and Martin were fantastic. We were able to get inside the caves. Big boats cannot. Cruise lines use big boat companies.
