Fort Cochin é marcado por um dos primeiros estabelecimentos de comércio exterior em Kerala. A caminhada do património é uma incrível 1,5 km a pé, o que nos leva de volta para o 1500, quando os portugueses, holandeses e ingleses estavam ocupados negociando a riqueza. A ilha forneceu-lhes um lugar maravilhoso para comerciar e refrescar. O passeio histórico nos encontra em diferentes monumentos que nos lembram esses marcos históricos. Também visitaremos o passeio marítimo de Fort Kochi e teremos um vislumbre da vida cotidiana em Kochi. O passeio dura 2 horas e é adequado para pessoas de todas as idades e níveis de aptidão.

My wife and I came to India on business and stopped at several cities. We had a few days in Kochi to ourselves and decided to see the walking tour with Basheer. We are so glad that we did. Basheer was very kind and friendly and made sure to share with us historical and cultural aspects of each stop. He was very informative and knowledgeable. It was an eye opening experience. If you find yourself in kochi I highly recommend this tour. Recommend to anyone. Just be sure to have walking clothes.

Our guide Vijesh was fantastic during our half day tour of fort Cochin - he was knowledgeable on the history of the fort, great English speaking and funny and gave us many great tips for the rest of our trip too. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone’s trip to orientate the area.

We had a private walking tour in Fort Kochi just a couple of days ago. The tour was about 3 hours long and we could visit the highlights of the area. Vijesh was a great guide, we have got a lot of information from him. I can only recommend the tour with him, great experience.

The morning session of walking tour to experience the local daily life of kochi was enchanting to me. Local tour guide Vijesh provided us such a good information. This was an extremely interesting tour with a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. He gained us seamless entry into the major historical sites and museums in Fort Kochi and really put everything in context, and was happy to go at our pace! Highly recommend!

We took a 4-hour tour (finally came out more) with the excellent wizard! Walked on foot and with the help of Ricciard, and the wizard driver was also charming. The wizard speaks fluent English, full of knowledge and fascinating explanations, responsible, kind and friendly. We had a lot of fun and I warmly recommend to anyone who travels in Cucci to take a tour with Ricciard.
Vijesh served as our personal guide for our group of 13 for 3 separate tours. He goes above and beyond with excellent communication and services. It was raining the day of our first tour that was supposed to be walking so he showed up with a mini bus to accomodate all of us at no additional charge. He is knowledgeable of the history of the area and very personable. Always willing to satisfy special requests for bank or shopping stops and answering questions. He arranged a home cooking class including dinner. The highlight of our trip was the backwater tour to Viacom Island by man operated punt boat. Quiet, relaxing and informative, ending with a veg lunch served on banana leaves. Not to be missed. I highly recommend Day In Cochin travel services and Vijesh.
