Excellent itinerary with diverse scenery. Be prepared for the miles travelled and some rough roads. Highly recommend.

Kazakhstan felt like many worlds in one with such beautiful and changing geography every 100kms. With a short time in hand, I think this 4 day package with Neomad gave us the opportunity to witness many landscapes nearing the Almaty region. Altyn-Emel park covering the singing dunes and Aktau mountains, then drastically going to alpine lakes of Kolsai and Kaindy and finally the majestic Charyn canyon before reaching Almaty. Truly wonderful. Thank you to Mr. Nursultan who organised this trip for us and a special thanks to Azamat who by the end became more than a guide to us.

The experience was good, the tour is well organized, visited beautiful and interesting locations, but it is overpriced.

An excellent and reputable organizer.We had booked at very short notice(2 days before) and received an immediate confirmation, however, with the indication that an English-speaking guide was not available on this date. It was okay for us, because the communication with our guide Danil worked very well via translator app.After slight initial problems, which the head of the company, Nursultan, took care of immediately, we spent a great 4 days in Altyn Emel NP , at Kegen Canyon, Charyn Canyon, Kaindy Lake and Kolsai Lake. Tip: For the 7-8 hour hike there to Lake 2, be sure to take enough water. The accommodations in Basshi and Saty were good, as was the food. We always skipped lunch because it would only have disturbed the daily routine. Daniel was an excellent driver on the sometimes quite long daily stages.

We very much enjoyed the tour by our guide Khakim (with a silent K)! We recommend taking a multi day tour to get a better feel of the country. Don't skip Altyn Emel national park! The dunes really sing ;-). The food in the Saty guesthouse was our favorite.

I had a really good experience with Neomad travels.. I booked the trip after seeing all the positive reviews and it ended up to be a good choice.. I took a 6 day trip including 1 day in Almaty.. The stay, food and vehicles everything was above par and expectations.. The tour Guide Max, was especially very helpful patient and understanding of my requirements and adjusting to my speed (being a slow hiker 🫢).. Nursultan was also very helpful and available 24/7 with any queries or difficulties throughout the trip.. I would really recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit Kazakhstan for a seamless experience..
