Panama City Tour (Canal do Panamá, Cidade Velha e Calçada)

It was a private tour with my host Juan.We started at the Panama Canal.Juam had a aura that immediately makes you feel safe and that was important to me since I was a solo traveler.He was knowledgeable about the canal and historical sights. More stops and photo opportunities would make the tour A+ Overall it was a good tour.

Very bad. Bad time management. Wasted time watching issues of less interest and almost no time left for the channel. It complained and said that the fault was the agency that should have taken a specific tour to the channel because that the channel was just that the time available. The agency that booked, once and for all, said that it had never thought that the Panama Canal would be treated like this as something so secondary and that it would endeavour to never make a reservation with this class again. He couldn't even see a boat pass through the enclosure because he had to run out. Moreover, part of the race was because they needed to drop a specific person from the group on a panoramic flight.

Casco viejo is beautiful and well preserved! And the canal is an amazing feat of engineering! The guide Juan, was courteous, and all around a great guy.

Ariel was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable. He had a good sense of humor too. He even went out of his way to show me my dads old high school, which was very special.

Oliver was excellent at describing the history of Panama and of the canal, and answered all our questions about Panama. He was a very good driver and did not rush us. Unfortunately there was no parking in the Casco Viego so we only walked the Herrera plaza and saw what we could as we drove by. Also the access to the Amador causeway was blocked so we didn't go there as planned. The Miraflores visitor center Imax movie was good but other parts of the museum were closed.

Juan was amazing tour guide and very informative. He was able to answer all of questions in English. We learned so much about the Panamá Canal and the city.
