I booked the private picnic river cruise for my hen do and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Skipper Paul was brilliant - we're a loud bunch, but he wasn't phased in the slightest! He went the extra mile, and made the whole experience really special. The food was gorgeous, the service from booking to the day was on point, and I can't recommend it enough! Thank you for the best day!
We had the most fantastic afternoon with our picnic river cruise. Paul, our skipper, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very warm and made the experience more than it could have been. The food was of a great quality and loved that it came in a picnic hamper. Would definitely recommend to others.
We had a fantastic afternoon onboard with Rueben. Very informative and perfect afternoon. Picnic was great wide selection of sandwiches and scones. Plenty of refreshments too. Would def do another. All the crew were fantastic and friendly would highly recommend
We had a good stay room very nice clean. Minor issues my parents asked for something and was replied to in quite a rude manner from the lady on reception. Breakfast was great kitchen staff and servers were great if we needed something they were more than happy to sort out for you. We had half board dinner there too and the food was lovely. Overall great stay.
I booked the picnic river cruise to celebrate my wife and I’s 42nd wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful sunny day and the boat trip was truly magical and extremely relaxing. It’s always nice to see city sites from the water, offering a unique perspective and the picnic lunch was also very nice. It was certainly a day to remember and our skipper, Duncan was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Maddy, our captain was knowledgeable and fun. Are picnic was lovely. The evening was so enjoyable compared to the hustle bustle of other tours.
A lovely private cruise. Paul our skipper was most knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We had a fabulous time despite inclement weather and the picnic was delicious. I would say this cruise is a very good value experience.
Our Picnic River Cruise and visit to The Folly were absolutely wonderful. Both my partner Paul and I loved every moment on the water — our skipper Russell was an absolute delight: knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely great company throughout. It made for a truly memorable 60th Birthday celebration, made even more special by a surprise birthday brownie complete with candle — a lovely personal touch we didn't expect. We'll be recommending this experience wholeheartedly to friends, clients, and customers, and we're already looking forward to coming back.
Absolutely beautiful trip. Led by the lovely Ollie who chatted amicably if required otherwise left us to enjoy the peace. Stopped off halfway at the Perch for a drink/toilet stop. Enjoyed the wonderful pub garden. The picnic was amazing! Beautifully fresh and homemade food served in a traditional basket with proper plates and cutlery. Also came with a cheeky glass of Prosecco. Highly recommended.
A lovely few hours of calm, peace and tranquillity along with a nice picnic. Henry made our experience especially enjoyable with his knowledge and humour.
