SEM TAXAS ESCONDIDAS: Ephesus, Casa de Maria, Private-Mini Group Tours

Booking was extremely easy and organized with them. When we got off the boat and exited port security, Pinar was there waiting for us and directed us to the shuttle. Our family was the only group on this tour which was much more intimate than the cruise tour of Ephesus and Mary's house. This allowed us to personally know and interact with Pinar who was an awesome tour guide. Our visit was a little less than 4 hours and was the perfect amount of time to take in all of the highlights. Since we're on vacation, price wasn't that much of an issue but what we paid was definitely worth the costs. Can't complain about the tour except the little side trip to a local merchant. You don't have to buy anything but just be aware that this is part of the tour. We were extremely happy with the tour and would definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking to visit Kusadasi.

This was a fabulous experience! Our Tour Guide, Nejdet, was exceptional! His english was great. The love he has for his country and his profession was really evident. We learned so much! He was also very courteous and making sure we stayed out of the direct sun, had water, bathroom breaks, etc. I would book this tour again without hesitation!

We had Ephesus Shuttle recommended to us and were really glad we did! We had initially booked a "private, choice of the guest" tour through Viator - but when requesting our route (Ephesus, Terrace Houses, Mary's house, temple ruins with NO marketing stops), the operator said that even paying for a private tour of our choice, we would still be forced into visiting local craft and rug demonstrations AKA sales stops. With Ephesus Shuttle we did EXACTLY what we wanted with an informative and resourceful local guide, who managed to adapt the tour to suit the abilities of our family and what we wanted to see. Highly recommended if you want to learn all about these fascinating places with personal service and no pressure to buy anything.

We were great on time at the agreed location. We met our driver and off we went first to the last resting place of Mary. Which was very interesting and peaceful. Our guide was very knowledgeable not only about the sites that we visited but also about Turkey in general, history, customs and the people. We were never rushed, there were only 4 people in total on our tour. It was very relaxed and personal. We then drove on to the ancient site of Ephesus which was wonderful and again our guide provided us with us much knowledge as we wanted and with plenty of time to take photos at each stop. We then had time to visit the toilets and spend time at the shops before returning back to the minibus. We then took a short drive to the remains of the Temple of Artemus. To wandering around and take photos. Finally we visited a workshop to see how Turkish Rugs are made and had some refreshments. We were then driven back to our Cruise ship. In all a wonderful tour.

We had such a wonderful trip with Ephesus shuttle! Our tour guide Alex was so knowledge and wonderful - it was worth every penny. He made sure we got to house of Virgin Mary before the crowds showed up and was patient with our crying baby too. On top of that he went out of his way to ensure the person in our group with a dietary restriction (which was not disclosed earlier) was taken care of at lunch. We also had a person on the booking who got sick and can’t make it and the tour operator only charged us for the people who was on the tour. The whole experience was seamless - we even liked the rug school stop! Highly highly recommend Ephesus shuttle and Alex as the best guide!

Our tour to Ephesus and Mary's House with Ephesus Shuttle was exceptional. They were quick to answer any emails, included very detailed information on what the tour would consist of, and provided updates as the date approached. Selda met us at the cruise port and was so full of excitement and information. She had so much patience for others in our group who constantly took time to have their pictures taken. She added surprise visits to a pottery place and a Turkish Candy Store. Both were fun and interesting. Never did we feel rushed, and Selda answered all questions. We would highly recommend Ephesus Shuttle for their tours.

This was such a fantastic experience. It was my favorite tour of my 14-day cruise. Adding the Terrace Houses was so with it. Not to be missed! Our tour guide (I really wish I remembered her name) was amazing. Our driver was awesome also. I want to point out that this was a small-group tour up to 10 people. It ended up just being me and my friend. I was so impressed by the fact that they didn't cancel the tour, considering it was only two of us. It speaks volumes for this company. I'm pretty sure most tour companies would have canceled with only two participants, but not this company. This company is solid and impressive, and I would tour with them again in a heartbeat. Thank you for my wonderful experience!
