A Trilha de Caminhada Panorâmica de Nagarkot fica perto da Colina de Nagarkot. São cerca de 2 a 3 horas de caminhada, com vista para o Himalaia. Inclui o Nagarkot Nature Trail e o Tamang Village Walk.

O templo de Changu Narayan é o templo mais antigo do Nepal, listado no Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO. Ele está localizado na vila de Changu no distrito de Bhaktapur. Este templo foi construído em 3500 DC pela Dinastia Lichhavi em estilo pagode. Este templo é dedicado ao Senhor Vishnu. Este templo é feito com variedades e madeiras locais com as várias artes de deus e deusas nos pilares do templo.
Ao lado do templo Changu Narayan, há outro templo importante chamado Chinnamasta, onde as pessoas costumam sacrificar animais como galinhas, patos, bodes, cordeiros e muitos mais quando seus desejos são realizados. O rio chamado Manahara flui ao lado da colina. Existem quatro portões de entrada no Templo e os portões são guardados por pares de animais em tamanho real, como leões, serafins, grifos e elefantes em cada lado da entrada. De acordo com os habitantes locais, quando você vê o templo de Changu Narayan, pode discernir o desenvolvimento cultural absoluto do vale de Katmandu. Também oferece uma vista magnífica das impressionantes montanhas cobertas de neve, bem como de todo o vale de Katmandu.

When I booked this tour, I didn't know what to expect. However, it's one of the most recommended places to visit according to other travelers, so I gave it a go. I only availed the sunrise trip and skipped the hiking option because it has been rainy the past few days. The tour started early, with pick up at 4:15, and Bandhu, my wonder driver and tour guide, was on the dot, so we were able to begin our journey to Nagarkot. Also, I booked a group tour but luckily, I was the only guest for that day, so it was sort of a private tour for me! Along the way, Bandhu briefed me about the what to expect and given the weather conditions days before, there was no guarantee that I'll be able to see the snow caps. Just before we arrived at the viewing point, we saw a glimpse of the mountains and I was so happy that upon reaching top, a sea of clouds welcomed me and the picturesque sight of the Himalayan mountain ridges. The view was breathtaking and the sunrise made it even more perfect. I couldn't stop taking photos and videos because I want to relive the beautiful scenery after my trip. Moreover, this amazing adventure won't be possible without the skillful driving of Bandhu! I reallt had a wonderful time chatting with him about everything under the sun! I felt comfortable throughout and it was just like a trip with a good friend! Once again, thank you for this wonderful day! Kathmandu will always have a special place in my heart because of the warmth of the people.

I had the pleasure of extending my stay in kathmandu and booking this activity very last minute. Because of the weather conditions, the sunrise wasn't visible, but despite this fact, looking positively on the situation, and having a very friendly atmosphere, we visited a few more places, which were amazing, accompanied by the care and informative notes of Bandhu. I had a wonderful day trip to Nagarkot and Changunarayan temple. Dharma was an excellent guide - professional, fun and caring. Kudos also to the driver who drove us safely in those mountains roads. Very recommended to anyone who is interested in exploring Nepali nature, culture and village life!
