Catmandu Food and Drink Walking Tour

It was a great tour of Deepak's personality and attention. He was always mindful of how comfortable I was and answered all my little puzzlements ahead of time. I ate too little and didn't eat too much, but they made me half-size and took what I left home. They also stuck with me because I was not good at English and explained each meal carefully. What made me even happier was that he sent me a summary of what I ate, a detailed description of them, and a few photos later. It was a wonderful response, one that would be remembered even if you didn’t take notes during the tour. When I found out that my friend was looking for a tour of Nepal, I would definitely recommend him.

Great experience .. Depaak is very knowledge not just about the food and the ingredients but also about the history and influenced that shaped the food we were experiencing . Nice variety of dishes and venues and it felt like eating as a local. Definitely worth doing and would recommend .

We went on a three hour afternoon walking food tour with Deepak. He is a wonderful guide who is very knowledgeable and very entertaining. We tasted many delicious Nepali foods and drinks and Deepak explained their origin to us and sent us a summary after so we wouldn’t forget. We had a fantastic afternoon and highly recommend this tour to everyone

This tour with Deepak, is one of my favourite moments of my month long visit to Nepal. Deepak is kind and a gentle soul and he taught me so much about Nepal. The food and drinks were all amazing but the conversations and friendship with Deepak made this even better. I came to do tour for food and the food was best I’ve had in my A month stay but even better- I met a friend with big heart. Don’t think twice and book this tour with Deepak. As single female traveling, solo tours can feel intimidating. I felt very safe and had great conversation and food. Thanks Deepak.

We were recommended this tour by some other travellers we met because of how highly they spoke of it. They were absolutely right and I would recommend this to everyone! Deepak was our guide, he was so kind, friendly and knowledgable. He took us to amazing places that we otherwise would have not even known existed, each place had delicious food and drinks. Food is an avenue to learning more about a culture, and Deepak was great at connecting the food to the land, so we learnt a lot about different areas and traditions of Nepal. It is good value for the price, but make sure to come with an empty stomach as it is a lot of food! Once again, I cannot overstate how helpful Deepak was, even after the tour he was happy to answer any of our questions and help book other tours and activities, he was the best!!

Deepak is a very knowledgeable guide, we learned a lot about the history of the food we tasted as well as the history and culture of Nepal. He took us to some fantastic eateries that we never would have discovered or tried on our own. The food was all delicious, make sure you are hungry when you go!

I had a great time in Kathmandu exploring local restaurants and experiencing the city’s culture. Deepak is an amazing host who truly cares about every detail and makes sure his guests have the best possible experience. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help.
