Our host was amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. We had such a wonderful time and learned a lot.
Thank you for bringing such great energy to our kitchen! We're thrilled you loved our hands-on Modena cooking class and enjoyed learning from our amazing, knowledgeable host. Making authentic Tortelloni, Tagliatelle, and Tiramisu is all about sharing traditional local flavors and good times. We hope you recreate these delicious dishes at home. Grazie mille!
Luisa and Ilaria were so friendly and accommodating. They had everything set up and ready to go to make amazing pasta. Their hospitality was amazing - preparing us coffee, drinks, and having great conversation throughout our cooking class. We also enjoyed the best tiramisu in Italy!!! By the end of the class, we felt like we saying goodbye to family!
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted that you enjoyed learning traditional Modenese recipes with Luisa and Ilaria. Creating an authentic cooking experience filled with homemade pasta, local traditions, great conversation, and warm hospitality is exactly what we strive for. We're especially happy that you felt so welcomed, and we hope to see you again in Modena for another memorable culinary experience.
This cooking class was so much fun and informative. The teacher Maria Luisa and her friend ilaria were great I felt like I was home. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone. So glad I did this class.
This was an amazing experience!! Luisa and Ilaria were amazing and not only did we make new friends, I booked a private dinner with family for when we come back to Modena in September. Highly recommend this cooking class.
We loved this cooking class! My husband and I went here to learn to cook pasta, along with another couple. While making pasta, they served us appetizers, wine and then for dinner we had the pasta we made and some tiramisu. It’s one of the best experiences we’ve had!
We were greeted by our 3 wonderful ladies to teach us. After the hard work of rolling out the fresh pasta dough :) came the fun part of making the tortellini and tagliatelle. And tiramisu. And plenty of local lambrusco and laughs. A truly wonderful experience.
We've done a couple of cooking courses in Italy before. This one seemed quite cheap so we weren't expecting too much. However, we had a lovely time. Mum (with no English at all) just got on with her usual food preparation for a normal fresh pasta meal. Her son translated (our Italian is embarrassingly bad) and got in her way so she occasionally grabbed the kitchen utensil or pushed him aside like Mums do! Dad and the dog sat next to us watching telly. It really felt like we were involved in a normal family day. We got lots of hands-on experience rolling pasta and trying to make Tortelloni. Then we all sat down together to eat. Charming experience. We really enjoyed it. Be warned, their lovely house is in the middle of nowhere so take a taxi.
We travelled to Modena to participate in this class - it was so much fun and the food was amazing! Our hosts were absolutely lovely. They showed us how to make egg pasta, crescentina (tigelle), and gave us a taste of balsamic vinegar and wine from the region. It’s fairly easy to get there by bus or taxi if you have no transport (if you take the bus you can use the 551! Our bus driver said they didn’t know the stop but it does exist).
Enjoyed the evening. Had fun making tortellini. They were delicious with homemade broth. Hosts were lovely. Great activity to do with my teenage son.
Stefano and his mom were welcoming and organized. We learned about making the food and its place in Italian culture. They were very generous as they shared two wines, grappa and espresso. I would recommend this activity to couples and families. However, I am not sure they can accommodate large groups.
