Had a great experience with Mike’s Nature Tours and the Manuel Antonio National Park tour. Pickup was easy - your bus arrived at our hotel on time and got us to the park quickly. Our guide, Alex, did an amazing job finding all kinds of animals in the park. He has a superhuman ability to find all kinds of animals from tiny grasshoppers to sloths, monkies, bats, frogs and more. He has a great understanding of the ecosystem of the park, and was good about including everyone in our group of three families. At the end of the tour they had cold water and fresh fruit waiting for us - so refreshing! Mike’s Nature Tours is highly recommended and a great value for your money.

Excellent for those who like wildlife big and small. There are a lot of guided walks at the same time but our guide Alex managed to nicely keep our little group separate while taking advantage of shared guide wildlife spotting. Alex was really knowledgeable with a true interest in all sorts of wildlife. Great English. We would not of spotted the wildlife without the guide as frogs, lizards, sloths and snakes all camouflage really well. It also helped us think about where to look when walking back from the beach on our own. We chose to get the transfer to the tour, after the tour we asked to make our own way back spending a couple of hours on the beach and another hour looking for wildlife on our way back. Was easy to walk out of the national park to the poplar beach and catch the bus to our hotel.

Alex, our guide, was phenomenal. He is so passionate and knowledgeable, and it really made for a wonderful tour. We saw really cool wildlife and Alex not only educated us but was able to get fabulous photos and videos of it on our iPhone with his telescope. He moved at our pace, always ensured we were comfortable and having fun. 10/10 experience

Jacob was our tour guide and we absolutely loved him! He found so many animals for us to see including a sloth, three types of monkeys, snakes, crabs, all types of birds and bugs. He was so knowledgeable, experienced, enthusiastic and kind and we really enjoyed our experience through the National Park! Pick up and drop off to the hotel was great as well! ***No aerosol bug spray cans are allowed in the park nor plastic water bottles or any food.**

Great experience no need for a guide if you want to go at your own pace and there is a beach at the end! Lots of animals! Worth the money to get in don't fall for the parking scams !

Our guide was Viviana and she was excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. This is a great tour that is definitely worth the price. Viviana spotted all sorts of wildlife, even tiny insects and lizards, and many monkeys and sloths. This tour was a great experience!

We so enjoyed the morning excursion to Manuel Antonio National Park which included time at the end to enjoy the white sand beach and warm Pacific waters. The morning experience was perfect for seeing lots of wildlife and our guide, Viviana, was wonderful. Viviana spotted just the right vantage points to see sloths and hummingbirds, howler monkeys, iguanas and land crabs, snakes and spiders. She was kind, knowledgeable, patient and had a great sense of humor. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Alex was amazing. He was patient, knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. He used his telescope to see a lot of the wild life. The experience of seeing a tiny frog on a leaf to seeing the sloths and the different monkey was mind blowing. We ended the tour at the Manuel Antonio beach inside the park. That was the perfect way to end my day. Make sure your water is on reusable bottles. No plastic bottles. Food, tobacco, vape aerosols, etc are allowed in the park. Read the message they send with the instructions. I also suggest packing an umbrella and a bag to protect your backpack in case it rains (I went in July and it rained). Although, the rain is refreshing. .

This is a great tour company to use. We were picked up on time and greeted by our guide upon arrival to the park. Viviana was our tour guide and she was one of our best guides during our time in CR. She is extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much from her.
