We went on two tours per day and this tour was by far the best. I have to say that our tour guide made a huge difference in the experience. He was amazing at finding all kinds of animals and insects. He took amazing pictures of the animals and shared them with us. This is a must do tour.
It was a great experience. Our guide Ronald was very patient and attentive. He found the camouflaged animals that we were oblivious of. Took photos which he shared at the end of the tour. Just an awesome experience
Ronald was our guide and pick us up from the Marriott Los Suenos. He was an excellent guide and very informative. We saw more animals than we would have seen on our own. Without the high power scope that many of the guides have, we would not have seen many animals. Don't worry about taking your own pictures, as Ronald took pictures from the scope and they are amazing! Included in the price of the tour was breakfast and lunch at a nice soda place. Food was good. Our driver was also excellent navigating the roads. We also stopped at the beach which was very refreshing after our walk.
We had an amazing day at the Park. We saw a couple of Agouti as soon as we got into the park. There are raised walkways as well as gravel trails. The day before there was a big rain storm and there were only a few puddles. We saw Howler Monkeys, sloths (two & three toed) capuchin monkeys, tons of land crabs, hermit crabs, a couple of species of frogs (one being eaten by a snake), a couple of black iguana, a Jesus Christ Lizard and a helmet headed basilisk.
Wonderful. Alberto, our guide, has explained everything perfectly, all the patience in the world with everyone, has made fantastic photos. Great connoisseur, you can tell he loves your job.
you definitely need a guide for the NP and you can't go wrong with Toucanes. Our guide was called Alan (I think) and we had a few kids in the group and he was excellent with them. We saw loads of wildlife and got some great photos. would recommend. The beach is lovely - we stayed for an extra hour after the tour ended.
We had a wonderful tour through the national park with Allan Castillo. He is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and took time to make sure that we saw as many animals as possible. We would highly recommend him
The most amazing aspect of this tour is how our guide, Alberto could see the animals at such a distance. We saw sloths, spiders, crabs, a snake, iguanas and monkeys. He is very knoweledgeable and passionate about conservation.
Brilliant experience with our great guide WARNER. Warner was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He gave us lots of information and went out of his way to find and show us wildlife. We highly recommend this company and guide.
Great experience, they walked us through the national park and our tour guides had eagle eyes! They were so knowledgeable and were able to find so many different things in the forest for us to look at. Our group was a pretty good size but everyone was super friendly and made sure everybody had a chance to look at things. The walk itself was not too long and very enjoyable.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We are so glad you enjoyed the Manuel Antonio National Park Guided Tour. "Eagle eyes" is the perfect way to describe our guides | it is amazing how they can pick out a sloth or a tiny frog in all that green. We are also really happy to hear the group dynamic was good. It makes such a difference when everyone is patient and friendly so every single person gets a turn at the spotting scope. We are glad the pace of the walk was just right for you!
